I am not a smoker. But I enjoy these old Cigarette commercials. Virginia Slims was surely pushing women's liberation, fashion and elegance here. Kind of like the 1920's flapper moving away from the late 1800's long dress and hair in bun look too their short 1920's hair bobs, short frilly dresses, dancing wildly to the Charleston and smoking cigarettes- which was considered scandalous back then for a lady to do. At 2:18 the lady dressed in early 1900's dress taking it off. ...If they were continuing doing these types of commercials today the lady would probably strip down to a teeny bikini or something! LOL. Thanks for the upload. ❤❤

I think that's a great point, the ads made smoking glamorous in these commercials in the 60's. Today, the dangers of smoking take away a lot of the "glamorous" aspect, and someone lighting up a cigarette today is not considered "glamorous" any more.
