And are we just going to ignore the fact that the hymen being intact or not intact says something about weather or not a person is virgin? Cuz it doesn't. Not even a little bit. Sometimes it can break from playing to rough. Sometimes it can break from horseback riding. And get this, sometimes, there isn't one to begin with. Also, If it did fully cover the vaginal opening that would be an issue, considering nothing, including blood, would be able to get out. And honestly, it's a misogynistic idea that you can check a person's virginity by doing this. 🤦🏽‍♀️

So yes if you have one that means there was no penetration. if there isn’t one it doesn’t necessarily mean there was penetration, but if you do have it intact you definitely havent had anything in there

reihannah herring if we're talking about virginity in correlation to the hymen and the thought of "if the hymen is no longer intact then they aren't virgins" then yeah. Cause if the hymen breaks it doesn't always mean they have had sex. If we think of losing your virginity as the act of having sex, no matter if you don't bleed, then of course not. But many think that you are a virgin if on your first time you bleed as a result of the hymen breaking, which isn't always the case.

Celebrities need to stop being so Narcissistic and telling us their business for attention, people need to stop caring about celebrity’s business like it should matter to them, and media outlets need to stop pushing celebrity business onto people like its actual news that needs to be heard and talked about. I understand it’s fun but you know what else is fun. Watching actors who have worked months or a whole year perfecting their craft for a good movie. We have so much time on our hands we have fallen victim as a society to caring for things that endorse a manipulative industry. We the working class are being taken advantage of, especially women, to watch people’s personal lives and compare ourselves to it so we can be tricked into buying and worrying about the dumbest things in life. I clicking on this video and watching it through makes me no better but watching this has definitely helped me realize that above statement. No more clicking on celebrity thumbnails and titles unless it involves actual political actions being made or if it’s for a trailer for a new movie or show with writers and a production company and all.

I feel sorry for Tam. She genuinely believes that protecting your abuser by staying quiet is helping the kids. It’s not. It’s only doing more damage to the victim & the kids. Until people start talking about how men should respect their bodies as well, I dont give a single damn about other people's opinions on what to do with their body. This is coming from a virgin who is not engaging in certain activities because I don't want to. And even then, I'm not judging other women or other men, but Im especially not concermed with the opinion of people who contradict themselves when they say father's shouldnt do what TI did (damn right they shouldn't) but then a second later say woman should respect themselves. I had my first Gynologic exam at 14 because couple issues. I broke my hymen with a tampon and did have some issues after. The dr ask me was active (no I wasn’t at the tone) and I forgot to tell her about it. However I was still a virgin. Some women are born with no hymen at all some are then some are thick. So that’s not a tale tell way to determine

Please watch the video again because we clearly hearing different things. She understood the father’s intention and does not support what he did, my understanding is that TI’s intention was to protect his daughter - from a fathers point of view he feels like it’s his duty to protect her. But what he is doing is wrong, I don’t agree with it and Jeanie doesn’t either. No one is making excuses for nobody, it was just a matter of understanding his intentions and reasons. I personally feel like that should be introduced more in conversations because when we tend to stay one sided and refuse to understand the full story.

What's both concerning and surprising is how didn't they mention that the hymen isn't in any way an infallible indicator or a proof of virginity it's unrelated to wether a girl has had sex or not, since there are countless variations and the hymen is just an anatomical part that goes through numerous changes depending on age, hormones & lifestyle, there are diffrent shapes, thickness, elasticity, many remain intact after sex, others dissolve gradually, and others barely have a hymen and it doesn't break as they said often it stretches, not necessarily after the first time or the second or the 5th ... Those tests are simply unscientific as the world health organization asserted, they are degrading, dehumanizing and deeply rooted in discrimination. Virginity is indeed a thing which is the state of a person who has never had sex, while relating it to the hymen is just persisting mythology in the minds of the ignorant.
