Started watching your tutorials few days ago and already hooked on the tablet thing. It was a lot of work to annotate using the mouse on ZOOM.. I was wondering what kind of mics do you recommend. I understand you. Many people find writing on a tablet with no screen is easy but if you find it hard, you can definitely try monitor (display) tablet. I haven't try them, thats why I cannot recommend any for you, sorry. But I will try in the future and let you know. Xp pen artist series and huion kamvas series are famous with display tablets but again I did not try any of those.

Thanks for sharing. My personal setup is quite close to he one you showed, with these differences : I use an external mike for the sound quality and i have a headphone a well. Snce my students are all minors, I ask them at the beginning of the lesson to dis-activate their webcam. One note 2016 is used the same way, with pdf insertions etc. Now the big problem is : How to identify on screen the pen position when you skip one part of the ongoing explanation to do another task. Its extremely difficult to retreive your last position. Any thoughts?

Great setup. I also added a microphone 👍. I started using PdfAnnotator to take notes. After changing some settings, i can now see the cursor all the time. Like a mouse. And it is easy to follow now. I will record a tutorial video about that this weekend.

AA. Recently bought XP Pen G640 android after your recommendations in video. Its very nice and reduced my efforts in online teaching. I specially bought a tablet with left hotkeys but found that only the pen button for erasing and pen mode is good enough, as you have to pay extra money for hotkeys per tablet. It works on all Softwares, MS word, Microsoft Ink, powerpoint, and one Note wonderfully. Thank you.

Google Meet is the meeting app like Zoom Skype or any other video calling apps. But Google Classroom is an online classroom platform where you have your students, marks, posts, documents etc. These are two different platforms.

When i watch recorded video I cant see pen cursor ( I used onenote, Microsoft whiteboard, and camtasia to record).

Onenote doesnt show the cursor in screen recorder mode but you can use some screen recorders, change settings and show it. I am using corel video studio and the screen recorder shows the pointer. I have a problem when Im sharing my onenote window, the movement of the pencil and hand writing is not natural, I mean, I dont know but there is some sort of delay not for me, that happended in the students window. I entered to my meeting from another device (pretending to be a student) and in this screen the pencil is not natural. Thanks for your help.

I had the same problem and I am using pdf annotator now: www.pdfannotator.com it is a 50mb program, no delays, no lagging and it has same features after changing some settings. I will record a video about that.

Can we write on ppt (MS power point) slide display mode (F5) during google meet/skype online sessions? Further, I have found XP-pen G 640 and deco 02 models with great difficulty. Let me know if they can work for online live sessions like I said. Thanks for your video.

I believe you can do that. I never tried in an online lesson but it definitely works offline. After you press F5, choose pen from the settings and write on the screen.

I share the video as a live meeting link. My school has a gsuite account and they paid for unlimited meeting, Google meet. I am also using another software, zoom, which is free for 40 mins. You need to start meeting again after each 40 mins. Again, you can pay for it and make it unlimited.

Mine is xppen star05. it is cheap, has good quality, doesn't lag and you can write smoothly according to the app you are using. I definitely recommend it. However, if you have a budget, you can try new Xp pen devices or Wacom devices. Just search on Amazon. You dont need big ones but if it is at least 8x5 inches, you can easily use it.

How did you connect the monitors to work like that?

Like a projector. I connected with an hdmi cable. But after you connect it use extend mode do not duplicate. If you do thar it lets you work on two screens.

I bought a One by Wacom(small)...I dint find it good as it doesn’t have any options except writing on the screen... it’s just acting like a mouse ..while I am writing I can’t see anything on Wacom screen expect on my laptop.
