Hi Echo Pappa...I have all my music in the C drive of my PC and copy all to an external hard drive. Also copy the database. When i open it on another PC all my tags and bpm disapear. Can you help me?? Thanks.

Do you know where the database is located on a mac computer. I am not sure if what I found is it. Also, is there a way to be sure you are dealing with the one where cues and scans where made are not from a previous instalation or old vdj database(vd7) i see that I have two vdj folders

Go to the far left of the browser, there is a small dot, click it, its a menu. From there you can take yourself off of tile view.

Does the hot swapping work between a windows PC and a Mac?

Great question. I'm not sure because I don't have a Mac to test it, but my guess would be that it probably works fine. Both Mac & PC can read the FAT32 file system on the thumb drive, both Mac & PC can use the same music files (mp3 etc), and I wouldn't think that the guys at Atomix would create two different database formats just because the base program runs on a different platform. So if you have both and test it, let me know. I would love to hear the results.

What if I am using Virtual DJ8 and the club or venue is using Serato or Tracktor? Will that work?

The VDJ database is not compatible. Both systems need to be VDJ
