Virtual DJ Tutorial - Expanding The Browser For Music Preparation /// In this Virtual DJ tutorial I show you how I use the BROWSER ZOOM function in Virtual DJ 2021. This is a good tip for those that are beginners or are looking for tips on organizing your dj music library or dj crates.
One of the criticisms when VDJ 2021 came out was how much space the decks and waveforms take up. It really is a 50/50 split between the browser, which is all of this stuff in the lower half, folders, tracks, etc. Sometimes we just need to see a taller view of our folder and track listing.
Browser zoom is the function that takes the browser from a half screen to nearly the full screen and it’s easily accessible by clicking a button in the lower left corner.
In this video I show you where you can click within the Virtual DJ interface to expand the browser to a full screen and also how to map a keyboard shortcut to make it even easier and quicker to switch back and forth.
As a bonus, I’ll show you my “not so secret” skin I change to when I am doing music preparation that takes the Virtual DJ interface from a two deck set-up to a single deck set-up. This is ideal when just working on single tracks at a time.

The default shortcut in VDJ for this feature is the letter 'Z'

Ahhh ... It's been so long since I mapped it. I probably added CTRL so I would not inadvertently zoom the browser.

Actually i am facing issue in my lacie with virtual . Whenever i scroll and move to other folder it shows blank screen . And showing browsering on the top . And tkaes so long. Any way to get out of it?

Hey dj K, I have a browser issue i hope you can help. Somehow my file list switched to a 2line large song discription & cover art thumb, i want to bring it back to the original single line "details" listing. I'm stumped.

u can also you the performance mood on the top and it will give u more view of ur songs and get rid of the playheads and most of the stuff
