I do something quite similar in Unity, but - while I am able to bring a plane with the keyed video, and a real time light do cast a shadow, the feet is my problem. The shadow does not conect properly at the feet.

thank you.but i have a question please can you put a video for reflection from green screen. I don't understand very well please
@Derny.2 жыл бұрын
nice video. i like it. i do the greenscreening with reflections in blender a bit different: first, I do the tracking part and import the image as plane. as same as yours, but I set the texture coordinate node from the movie on window, so it fillup automatically the full screen. the good part of my method ist, that you can deform the plane as you want. like making her real-life walking kurve with the plane. this way the reflection are looking better. or for better reflection i dublicate the greenscreen movie and turn on the first one the shadows and the glossynes. so my feets are not being cut. with the duplicate, i turn off the just the camera visibility, so the shadows and the reflection of the copy are visible. then i move the copy way back. so the reflections and the shadows are more connected to the person. you should try it out. sorry for my bad English. i hope you understand my method :)

please after adding reflection and u gonaexport it to use it on after effect how can u keep reflection but remove character to add it on after effect?
@unrealab2 жыл бұрын
But in this case you have to export from Blender both shadows and character, as the character is placed as an image plane direclty inside Blender
@elbedouirayen79382 жыл бұрын
@@unrealab but when i export in blender the character be like transparent

roughness 0, transmission 1.. then check how to displace it if u wanna make it move
@agaerialcinematics14892 жыл бұрын
Must be careful about the keyframing of the image plane size. There are two times where the shadow noticibly jumps in the reflection of the foot in the water towards the top right corner shortly after she steps up. I am pretty sure it's a keyframing issue and perhaps could be softened or eliminated by adjusting the interpolation handle of those keyframes to soften the movement.

Hello, thank you, yes I know there are these issues in the tracking :) But consider that the footage and compositings you see in our channel are created specifically for these tutorials, so unfortunately we don't have much time to refine everything, we have to work for our clients :) There are a lot of imperfections in our tutorials, bu the purpose of them is simply to show the main concepts and workflow that we use in our work.
