How to export camera data from Blender to After Effects

You can export camera data and animation from Blender to After Effects.
In this way, in AE we have the same camera as in Blender, and all the layers move in the same way as in the original footage.
We use this technique to add a simple effect to the video, basically the groove in the rock drawn by the cavewoman.

NB: this plugin was developed for Blender 2.9, and the updated version on blender.org in no more available.
So, keep in mind this for any issue you may have on recent versions of Blender.
You have to try and test yourself :)

NOTE: as we have a small camera movement, you could also add the groove in AE by a simple planar tracking, but we want to show how to export camera tracking data, so we use this technique.

Please let us know how you created the shadow. When the character was writing.

Hi, the shadows are from the video itself. When you remove the green, some of the shadows are still there, as they are very strong next to the plane, so you have the shadows also in the final compositing. You can also add a mask and a separate chroma key compositing only for the are around the shadows, so you can better isolate them.

Thanks for the report. Yes the add-on seems to be no more available on blender.org. Here is the link of the previous version, developed for Blender 2.9: github.com/Squls/io-export-after-effects-2.9/blob/main/io_export_after_effects.py It seems to also work for Blender 3.x, but you have to try yourself keeping this in mind.
