Join us as we enter the 1857 Orr Home and explore its narrow rooms, searching for the spectral presence of the Orr family. We will examine the history of this home that housed two generations of Orrs from 1857 to the 1970s and no one else. We will also explore the streets of Steilacoom and tell you the ghost stories that linger in the town today. This is a FREE virtual tour. Special thanks to the Steilacoom Historical Museum.

The Museum is open Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4 through November 1.
The Holiday Museum Store will be open weekends 10-3 from November 14 to December 6.

I worked in the old Steilacoom Historical School District school bus garage for 17 years 2001 to 2018 It was located on Chambers st across from the old school which was transformed to Pioneer Middle School, I would open up the shop at 5 am And i cant tell you how many times the doors would slam or all of the other noises i heard there! I just kind of got a use to it,drivers coming in would hear them to. Now a days the garage is gone and several big homes going in Pioneer Middle School is now in Dupont and most of Pioneer in town is gone,but they saved the old K12 brick school for the District offices.Which i believe is on the list of historic places. I have Fond memories there for sure!

My hometown ❤. I used to work at ER Rodgers Restaurant. Glasses would break randomly. Rooms would get freezing cold and doors would close on their own.
