Incredible, your collection is awe-inspiring, but your talk for closing the episode is absolutely the reason why many of us 30-somethings loved the 80s and seek out 80s cartoon nostalgia. You articulated exactly how I feel about collecting, despite having only 0.01% of what you have, I still covet what I do own because it's the memories and the sense of doing right in the world which inspired me and captured my imagination as a child .

The battle is over but the war has just begun. Till all are won and one. Michael, thank you for taking us on this incredible journey. I can't thank you enough for bringing back some great childhood memories. I never had a lot of the toys I wanted as a kid but that doesn't matter. I am glad I had the opportunity to watch amazing cartoons and TV shows and movies from a decade that helped teach kids a moral lesson. Above all the friends we got to hang out with along the way is special too. You have a great collection of my favorite decade brother and I truly wish to call you my friend. I look forward to your next video adventure. Nerdmaste my friend!

Seeing those play sets, you can't but be amazed at how lucky we were to be kids at that time. Hey Michael, thank you so much for this series. The tour was awesome, a real time travel, to a simpler time. One part was specially touching: when you showed the Bravestarr shelf. When I was 13, in 1988, my father spent a few months in Sweden, for work, and sent me a Bravestarr figurine, along with 3030. It blew my mind, because that toy didn't exist in Brazil. Unfortunately, a few years later, I thought I was "too old" for toys, and ended up giving them away. I regret that decision regularly. But, one day, I'll have them again. I browse e-bay every now and then and see some for sale. Thanks again man!

Your videos are great. When I watch them I kinda feel like I'm over at a friend's house and he is showing me all his toys or my parents taking me to Children's Palace (we didn't have a Toy's R Us until I was older) on my birthday and letting me pick out whatever I wanted. Those are some of my most cherished memories and man, thanks for putting a visual tour of a greater time, we grew up in an awesome era. Don't know what else to say except thanks again for the videos and all the hard work that goes into making this caliber of production.

wow a dozen episodes basically encapsulating my entire childhood (at least as far as toys go) ... blows my mind all the toys I saw in the museum that I remember having... transformers, gi joe, a-team, he-man, thundercats/silverhawks, TMNT... I think the only one I didn't see (which I would guess might be in one of the side exhibits that weren't covered?) was Battle Beasts? loved that spinoff of transformers as a kid had a bunch of those guys and at least one of the pull-back vehicles. So definitely earned my subscription will definitely watch for more great toy videos!!

Great series! Binged all twelve today. Subscribed! I definitely grew up with many from the "Big Three" plus Star Wars. Some of my favorites (and I totally admit to having been fortunate and spoiled, although there always seems to have been that one other kid who was slightly more so): Some of my favorites: From Star Wars-- Darth Vader's Command Ship, Yoda's Dagobah Playset, Jabba's playset, and the Rancor Nabbing Jedi Luke from a bin of randomly assorted figures... He-Man: Getting Castle Grayskull From Transformers: 1984-- My very first-- Hound; Megatron for Christmas 1985-- Optimus Prime for Easter 1985; Jet Fire for my birthday; Constructicon Gift Set for Christmas 1986-- Seeing the movie in theaters (even though some jerk spoiled a certain death) GI Joe: Too much to recount. This was definitely my favorite line and what I played with and held my attention the most until Nintendo stole my attention away from action figures in 1987. Collecting these all over again in 2008-09. The only time I spent much energy collecting as an adult. Other random toys I enjoyed: Legend of the Lone Ranger from Gabriel circa 1980 Dukes of Hazard Indiana Jones and Thuggee

Fantastic collection. I was hoping to see Air Raiders... Some of these I never heard of. I grew up with only 3 TV channels. I think kids who were fortunate enough to have a satellite dish were more into these toys. I didn't get to watch GI Joe, Master's of the Universe and many more of these. I never had a single GI Joe toy. I guess that's what happens when you don't live in the city. Hope you include the AT AT, AT ST, and Ewoks tree fort! Thanks for the videos!

Just finished watching your tour! Amazing stuff, Michael! Had a friend who gave me a bunch of Transfomers back in the day when he was 'cleaning house' and wished I still had them. I had the giant Purple and Green Scorpinok? I think that's the name. Also had the old school Jet Fire which seemed to be identical to the Macross VF-IS. The arm ended up coming off because of a loose screw that I could never find and I ended up loosing it during a move. I remember having a newer gen Megatron, but it came as a green and purple tank. Had one of the original sweeps, an Optimus Prime, one of those fish guys from the movie, and one of the really cool 6 in 1 decepticons (six changer?). I believe it transformed into a gun, a jet, a tank, a land cruiser, a flying griffon, and a bipedal decepticon. I forgot his name, but I wish I still had him. So many other random autobots and decepticons. Thank you for making such a great presentation with the narration and cartoon clips. It really gives it character and pulls you back into the 80's. I was so jealous of a friend of mine because he on the other hand, had toys from virtually every set. He had the playset from the Turtles, the turtle van, the blimp, the technodrome, etc. Used to break his ninja turtles all of the time, like by putting them in a cup filled with water, then putting them in the freezer over night to freeze. Then in the morning, I remember when I would go over to his place, he would drop it from the second floor and it would shatter. I'd ask him why he would do that, and he said his mom would get him another one. He would do that with all of his toys....his G.I. Joes, his starcom toys, his WWF wrestlers with the rink, etc. I was never able to get the figures I wanted, I got what I got because my parents worked hard for their money and like you, it put food on the table, clothes on my back and I was grateful for what I could get. It takes a lot of energy to maintain something of this caliber. Hats off to you Michael. Don't know if I have the ability to be a patreon tribe member but you definitely have my subscription. Thanks again for the great display of toys I remember so fondly.

In spite of 29 years of service in the US Army, I was never into GI Joe. Nonetheless what you did with the USS Flagg was amazing. At one point, toys were considered worthless if anything was done to modify them. I think that's been changing for sometime and your lower deck is a good example of why. Makes sense that this is truly the crown jewel of your toy collection--super job!

Been binging you 80's museum vids, so awesome! So, we're all the Hot Toys and Marvel Select, etc... that you show at the end all yours too? If so, when are you gonna show some of that stuff??
