I played along with a scam call once and I was asked to log onto my computer etc. The scammer asked if I was logged in and I said yes, he then gave me a sequence of keys to press so he could gain access to my ‘PC” one of which was the Windows Key. I played along by telling him I could not find the Windows Key and he told me it was situated to the bottom left of my Keyboard. I proceeded to shuffle around a bit while acting confused and again told him I could not find it. This too and frowning went on for about 10 mins and eventually he asked if I could confirm my computer brand to which I replied “I’m on my iPad” Click, End of Call 😂😂😂😂😂

Another company that avoids calling people is Microsoft, in fact, they never call, and they have stated numerous times anyone who calls you purporting to be from them is likely a scammer/fraudster posing as them. If you do need to contact them, they would expect you to call them or contact them another way legitimately. This rule applies to most of the large tech firms, they will NEVER call you ever. They have the means and resources to allow you to contact them, and usually, you do not even have to pay for it.
