Thanks dude, it really puts you under the bus with that unexplained hidden step. I've got two 1TB hard drives on my pc, I used to use the 2nd for videos but it takes to long to move them so I just pulled the floor on it and emptied the drive. I now have a use for my 2nd hard drive.

Dude, Thanks for the feedback, This error says it can not find, operating system to start your virtual computer. You can supply Operating system in 2 ways, 1. If fist time boot, start from os installation CD/ISO. 2. If OS has been already installed in your virtual hard disk, change the boot order so that it boots from that specific virtual hard-disk. Works until I shut down, then says please remove the installation medium, then press enter. I do that then Im having to readd the iso in again and its a fresh wiped OS all over again. Rinse repeat.

Mint I had to click the file on the apparently "fake" desktop to actually get it installed. Or maybe it was Debian, cant remember now but one or the other required me to install off icon on what I guess was a temp boot up

It is technically possible to develop a virus that could jump from VM to RM(Real machine). It is again depends on the OS, its vulnerabilities, settings that you choose, your usage pattern. But I would say 98% it is safe to test a virus in is VM, to be on safer side, pls fo not install guest os adons, do not setup shared folder, have your VM is separate drive, do not access that drive from RM. try this one. this problem happened to me when i try install windows 10 on ubuntu 20.04. create the virtual machine and install os by another computer which works fine, export it in ovf format and import to your computer. hope it helps

Dude, pls watch the video completely. While watching keep below points in mind. 1) Recheck Boot order and check mark before optical drive. 2) Recheck that the iso file is mounted under storage 3) Mostly the ISO file is the issue/corrupted/it is not in bootable format. So pls download different ISO file.
