Green Hell VR has a walkie talkie that you can equip by grabbing the right side of your chest, GoT could implement something like this where your voice is still played over VoIP, but your voice is also played to the other people in your squad through their walkie talkies. Doing so would give away everyone’s positions through the sound, and you could mute your talkie talkie if you’re trying to stay quiet. It seems to me like there would be a lot of potential with this kind of mechanic.

I've enjoyed my time playing this game and putting in now 100+ hours into it. But my real issue is sometimes it feels tedious, WAY to tedious. I wish they found away to make things much shorter as I don't want to put in literal DAYS to grow NRS or bandages. It just feels like a chore more than a fun experience. It's what turns me off. But I can see it becoming super fun and exciting! It just needs more adjustments and maybe some more attachments that change the way weapons feel. (M4A1 turning from a assault rifle to an SMG with different barrels, stocks, or receivers, etc.) It's getting the foundation solidified and I am all down for it.

Im done with realistic military shooters in vr for a while The immersion is broken by clumsy controls that hardly ever accommodate seated options. Developers need to think about people who prefer or have to be seated. Plus, there a ton of new games out lately 😊

what I hate about the extraction shooters genre is that it severely overlooks the singleplayer audience since I love the idea of this but hate the idea of pvp and I know that there is an offline mode but your loot doesn't save so theres no point.

i have a love/hate relationship with the gun play. I don't know why it doesn't piss off everyone. But its so janky and buggy. It has very good things but its execution is so nerve racking, aiming is literally annoying unless you play with M4 and some other rifles. With pistols its perfect, but how you need to adjust your hands with rifles feels very unnatural, unlike games like Into the radius, vail vr or pavlov

It looks cool but I mean I don't think I am going to try it. I tried like Pavlov for example but the people in games like this, even more so than on PC regularly, are cracked in VR for some reason. I can't hit shit but they 180 snap to your head. It's basically unplayable for a casual player. I suspect this would be a lot of that.

I got the game played the tutorial and then got off cause work but it felt weird I felt like my head was to far back like when I looked down it’s like I had huge boobs and my chest was just in my face and I for the life of me couldn’t figure out how to bring up setting the tutorial said the menu button on left controller but I was playing steam vr and it just brought up the steam game window and not in game settings

Idk man. Its ok but it needs much work. When i think of realism it doesn't involve my character being pushed away from everything i get close to, or holding weapons above my sholder, or in the center of my chest just to use them because the geometry is wacked. Im not joking a fair bit of the guns in the game are downright unusable on the quest. I kove the idea of what the game "could" be, but it has a long way to go.

Only thing I want out of tabor that keeps me from playing is different stash management. It takes SO LONG to organize loot and or gear up for the next round. It’s so annoying I stop playing. Give me an arcade option. Even EFT gets annoying to manage and gear up again but at least it’s a screen and not PHYSICALLY WALKING AROUND THE STASH AND TO THE TRADERS. I have kids. I don’t always get a lot of time to play and I’m not going to invest what time I have in stash management.

Game has a huge problem, the collision is terrible. My gun is always catching on everything. Backpacks are supper messy and difficult to manage. Game is way too dark. Maybe look at contractors showdown menus should be a the standard.

I honestly hate the extraction shooter genre. The idea of losing everything on you is enough to make me never want to use the cool stuff I get. And I don't like multiplayer PVP games normally, but the risk of dying and losing everything makes everyone extra sweaty. And like you said in the video, you can't trust anybody, which means I can't meet any cool new people since everyone is just trying to kill each other mindlessly. I really just don't find the joy of extracting to outweigh the mix of emotions of dying and losing everything.

i mean the title is just wrong. The game is crazy unpolished and janky. Mastery of the game is just learning how to work around that. Your gun constantly collides with invisible walls, because hitboxes don't match textures. If you drop objects, they disappear in the ground. There is no sprinting for some reason. When you throw grenades, they sometimes just fly the other way, because this is one of the few vr games that couldn't manage a throwing mechanic properly. The company has no respect for its playerbase, which becomes immediately apparent if you try to fill up the water tank in your gardening room. You can't use the ingame voicechat with friends, because normal speaking voice reaches what feels like half the map. Gettin traders to level three is a task that can't be achieved if you just put in 1-2 hours daily. You gotta commit. And the things sold by level 2 traders are practically worthless. I wouldn't recommend buying this game right now. Maybe wait 2-3 years.

@@oliverkelly4363 never played it beyond the pve mode so idk. But contractors showdown sacrificed some of that tarkov-esque-realism, to be a really well polished game. It's a perfect copy of those pubg-type games and if you liked those on the pc, I can recommend it. Probably the best shooter rn.

There's objects that fall through the floor, accidentally jumping through windows when reaching for a gun, getting caught in windows, object disappearing from your hand then reappearing randomly, the terrain's hitbox doesn't match up with how it looks visually, you can get caught on the smallest raised bit of terrain. The list goes on. I personally love the game. It's really addictive and definitely does change how I view pvp in VR. But it still needs some fixing of major bugs that I commonly see (Through my own gameplay and streams that I hop in for a bit) Also, they have added Solos recently so that's a plus. And they've announced vehicles as of yesterday!! It should be coming in late July.
