It's been brought to our attention that for non-HDR viewers the resolution is limited to 1080p. We are currently working with the KZbin support team to get this resolved, as the processing in their system seems to show 4K, but are not sure why it's not delivering in 4K. just an fyi, I'm running a 4K HDR LG TV on my PC with HDR enabled in windows, still doesn't give me 4K version under firefox browser, but does under Chrome. Best wishes.

Can you please confirm that HDR playback is not working on IOS or smart tv youtube app. I am watching on mackbook pro with xdr display on chrome and HDR is fine, but on ipad pro with xdr or iphone 12 pro max, no hdr videos are as bright. They videos register as HDR but the nits level on ipad, smart tv and phone is normal brightness .Is there a fault with Application or youtube, are you able to confirm?
