13:59 Interestingly, lightning can travel from the ground back up into the thundercloud. There are certain conditions that need to happen, and most upward lightning seem to involve a nearby cloud-to-ground lightning strike and tall objects such as radio towers.

1:20 so that's why it was running with only one half! 2:32 I've seen a few of those. I like that the white paint matches the screens 2:48 11-unit light power move 3:53 two GE locomotives to move on FRA Metroliner inspection car 4:00 this 6-unit lash-up is cool too 4:52 wow! I'm surprised that's all the way out on the old ATSF mainline 5:12 these two units are also unusual catches, but more common than the previous clip 5:52 PRR and NYC private cars together. Eat your heart out, Rodney Kantorski!!! 11:10 double CN and a Trans-Global Solutions geep 11:30 ex-NYSW unit on Horseshoe Curve 12:00 an SP RPO and an Illinois Central-colored coach 12:53 three units, 19 cars 13:43 Hi-rail truck pulling seven cars. The 4th one is really unusual 14:32 P40 on a Cacasdes train of Horizons 14:55 ex-FURX unit

I didn’t think you could start a loco from inside the cab I’ve always seen it done from inside one of the side panels. My guess the loco was idling but isolated and he went in the cab to put it online. I could be wrong. If I am my apologies.
@MatthewMello2 жыл бұрын
You are correct, just put it online. Takes longer than that to start a locomotive, even if it has in cab starting capabilities.

At 2:36 it is not "Providence & Worechester" but "Worcester". And if one grew up in central Massachusetts, one might pronounce it as if it was "Wista" and the actual pronunciation is more like "Wooster" - rhymes with rooster.

0:20 Loco 789? Who put the decals on that? Same Wichita clip twice 3:56 where is that Metroliner car going? (I see it's not Amtrak but can't make out if it's CDOT or what) 5:24 CEFX 3721 is interesting because it was originally a Southern GP38 that seems to retain SOU or NS paint where it's still black. It's now a GP38-3. Not sure who had it previously CEFX 3803 is also ex-Southern, 2788, now a GP38-3 also, by way of I think Railtex-Rail America-G&W ECRX 2005 is so new I can't find what it was. GMTX 9059 was a replacement for a wrecked unit for the Susquehanna, originally an Oakway Leasing unit same number. Still can't believe that NS DC-to-AC conversion that led past Tower 55 didn't make a bag.

Thanks for trying to explain what some of those things are. I really only watch for Amtrak trains, so I skip through 95% of these grab bags, but I will stop and watch if there are captions.
