Hi, so I have question about viruses. Do viruses need energy for certain things, if yes where do they get this energy from and why can't they generate their own energy? Senna

Virus do not have own Energy generation system and that's why they need a host to survive. That's why they infect us. They are like parasites . For replicating their genetic material they need energy which comes from the host ( they hijack host energy generating systems)
