Please pm for new COE requests ONLY if you are a foreigner with a government / NGO contract or are employed by e.g. a Dam/Mining company or similar so we can assess your situation and assist your return to Laos. Without this new CMU invoice your COE will NOT be issued. We are very busy getting current applicants back into Laos so please limit your request to urgent & important matters only. New Visa requests, renewals etc. are still being processed in country even though borders are closed, please pm if you are in Laos and need a 3, 6 or 12 month visa. Same as Cambodia, it seems not that hard to get into with a good visa agent. So true about living in a place for at least 6 months before commiting. Know so many people who have sold everything and went all in, then a year later they want to come home. Being in Cambodia for 18 months would definitely use Cambodia as a home base. Great Vlog, really enjoyed it.

The services that Chris provides are so comprehensive. And it's great to see that for the most part where there's a will there's a way. Will definitely be looking him up come the time. But as a lover of travel I can't help feeling absolutely filthy at the mob who have - by spreading their vile disease all over the World - forced us all into having to go through all these complex processes just to go visit family and friends overseas...or just go on a holiday. And we all know who I mean. And as the 14 day quarantine - and that's at both ends of your return trip - is out of the question for me (and most of us) sadly it's still going to be many months before we can fly to a beautiful and mysterious place like Laos. But I'm still living in hope. At least we have you there mate. Good on you Todd👍🏼

What's the process and visa requirements for marrying someone and bringing him or her to the States?
@tobiasboon3463 жыл бұрын
This is all from second hand experience but firstly you need to go over there and actually meet the person and have proof like pictures of the two of you together or pictures of the engagement ring with reciepts and text messages between the two of you. You may or may not need a government official/head of village as witness. On your end you will firstly need to have a stable job with a good chunk of change in the bank (I think somewhere around at least 5k). On their end, je/she needs to send you all their documents like birth certificate and family registry to you. You will then have to summit a petition for a k1(fiance) visa or a marriage visa. Make sure all documents are correct before submitting just to not waste time having to redo everything. Petition might required text message between the two of you and any proof of financial support from you in the form of cash pickup services like moneygram or western union. It will usually take somewhere between 8 months to a year for your fiance to get an interview at the US embassy for a k1 visa. Marriage visa takes longer, about 2 years but there's less chance of the visa being denied when compared to a k1 visa.
@knappsta3933 жыл бұрын
Everything is true. Only thing is they are not approving k1 currently due to the pandemic. Someone I know is going thru this process right before covid. And they are still waiting.

Great informative video with some very strong points made to help understand the nation laws and rules. I think it is very good the way they do things as it makes great since with logic behind there customs. You don't want to be like Thailand where it is more a sex market nation that is just like western culture but has its nations laws and rules as well. Lao is a very lay back place as seen through your camera eye on your travels north to south. People are different in the northern and southern regions, but they all seem to be very friendly and kind no matter where you go. Well it was a strong topic to say the least but I get it and know it is a nice place. Sad that nothing will be the same around the world after this Chinese virus is done mutating and separating the world from each other. In my nation I still want a wall built to keep people from just walking into ours and bringing violence, sickness, and looking for jobs when we have millions of homeless living on our streets. I want our country closed before we fall into a civil war and race war. It is very ugly here Todd and if our nation falls the whole world will be affected, that is not good. Thank you for sharing this information and teaching others important information before they just leap without thinking. god bless Todd and tell Neenee good day for me mate, Peace.

How dare you label Thailand as "sex market nation" ???- Yes Laos promotes and encourages good ethical and strong moral values but you have no right to denounce any other country especially since you are obviously a racist that's against people of color which is in itself immoral and unethical and should be banned from entering all h asian countries.

always enjoy your material !! being an Aussie im sure you will understand my input , been a surfer , fisherman , hot rod , euro sport car and live aboard yacht owner for ever here on Padre Island Texas , now retired from restoring classic yachts and automobiles , no marriage , mortgage or kids EVER !! ( lotta surfer girls ) so what im understanding is because im over 65 i CAN date 3 Lao goddesses at the same time without the girlfriend police showing up !! Lol , when i have dated Latina surf goddesses its apparently the same with Lao babes , your not just involved with her , its her whole FAMILY Lol , Cheers mate ,good luck , think ill stay in TEXAS !!
