Price - I paid $61USD per night for this full house, for 3 adults and 1 baby.
On this trip to Vientiane, Laos, my wife, baby, and our friend, all stayed in a local Laos apartment on the bank of the Mekong River. It was a great place, in a wonderful location in Vientiane, and along the river.
The apartment is quite new, with a glass elevator. Unfortunately we stayed on the bottom floor, so we didn't have a chance to use the elevator.
We had a great stay in Vientiane and I think especially this apartment is in a perfect location in the city. Thank you for watching this living in Laos, Vientiane house tour!

I love the way that the Laotians look after their environment, much calmer and more organized than other places I've been. The prices of the food seems higher, but I'd be willing to pay that if it contributes to maintaining the environment. It looks way more organized than the previous vlogs you did. Good for them!!

Hi Mark and family, this is definitely what I’ve been missing about my country.....the new Lao, its beautiful! It’s definitely not the same place i grew up in. It’s modernize, the whole city itself is amazing. I was born in Vientiane, live there til i was 7yrs and then left. I have not been back since i was that young.. I need to come visit! Thanks Mark.! Great city, yes, make the effort to visit--you will be amply rewarded. From Vientiane, you can hop a flight to Luang Prabang, well worth the effort. LP is stunning. Then loop back to Vientiane taking an 8 hour bus. Stop in Viang Vien. Amazing Laos.

I stayed at the Sengiwan Riverside Hotel. I'm pretty sure it's on the same stretch of road you stayed in. On the Mekong, and in a very nice part of town. I wish we could share photos here on KZbin! It is ranked as having one of the 10 best rooftop restaurants in the world as far as the view is concerned! I think the food ranked up there too!

How about a preset wardrobe...and Xtra pillows and linens...ex towels...with preset hotel vibes and a cleaning service coming standard...complimentary toiletries always.. Pre..apaart box....instead of what do I want to do....how about be part of a tour ..like a wework..situation..with friendly kid service.
