My S52 is jealous 😄. The noises this car makes is amazing. I was never a huge m54 person but this is by far the best sounding one I have heard.

Would you say it has more torque than an S54? If so can that be an advantage on the track?

M54 and S54 have similar torque peaks, so no. S54 breathes miles better up top.

The old diffs accumulate some lash, especially with the "lifetime fluid." Old toasty guibos amplify the lash. Subframe mounts could be popping too, the vince bar is what every e36/e46 needs.
