I think what amazes me the most about this video is the fact that you can roam freely, without or with very little restrictions. The Meditation Caves are so beautiful. Not just the way the look, but in the way that your energy would just flow within that small space. The way that would feel would just be bliss. Thank you for sharing this, all 3 of you. This made my day.🙏 Ram Ram and Happy Diwali.🪔

I wish I could've gone in when I went by this ashram where The Beatles stayed for Transcendental Meditation in the 60s but I was starting to run low on funds and had to keep it tight as I still had 17 days to go before returning to the West. Had I been a digital nomad at that time in 2019, I would probably have stayed in India 🇮🇳 longer.

I'm curious if there is a written history of the building of this Ashram, the active years and then what happened to everyone who was there when it closed? As awesome as it is to be a tiger sanctuary now it is sad that so much effort and devotion is just crumbling away. Especially with so much need for housing in India.
@deepikaupadhyay7888

The Sadhu who built and leased the ashram was (Maharshi Mahesh Yogi) and the ashram was also international academy of meditation in 70s to be precise. You will find some electrical items imported from US and Germany from the era abandoned in the building which evidences that there was a glorified good business that was happening there. And other the other hand, I actually loved the structure, which was very calm and composed to meditate, but only to find out people also used those silent places in the ashram to hook up. That was the culture apparently. After the Sadhu stopped using it in late 70s, Govt tried to run the same program by themselves. But later when he moved out, a lot investigative journalism started around the mansion. And some researchers found traces of LSD. That's where allegation of abuse of drugs, children and women came forward. Even after allegations people continued to follow him.
