Good tip Shawn, I had only learned about that trick recently too. Although I find a little magenta can also be our friend and add a touch of nice color, but globs of it are not good.

Enjoying your videos Shawn, learning a lot from them. Keep up the great work! For this video id be interested to know why it works, given red is opposite to green, SCNR red doesn't work, however Invert and SCNR green works but also preserves those colours the first attempt didn't.. it's voodoo surely. Or probably just the way the algorithm works.. I'll never know.

Hi Shawn! Awesome videos... looking through your videos on Narrow Band Processing especially on my stars.. I can never get star color there always white I see everyone’s photos have a little blue even Orange stars.. what I’m i doing wrong? Thanks

Nice tip Shawn, thanks! Always hate working on magenta stars too. Would the invert-SCNR be your method of choice for those or what happens with your Magenta Star Fix icon be better? Would love to hear what that process really does, haven't seen it before. Many thanks, John
