I can't believe I never thought of creating connection points "inside" an object, champion!

super helpful. Any words of wisdom on pasting line styles? Visio seems not to be able to copy/paste all style attributes leaving me with a lot of hand formatting (and wasting time). Thanks.

I am looking for a version of visio to design very similar diagrams like on this video. Could you tell me if it is possible to use connectors and connection points like this in standard version as well? My boss recommended visio 2007 or 2010 standard- but i dont know if they are enough for this purpose. Thank you for your help

I wish those connection points remained in place when you increase the size of the block ( to add more connection points or just to add more text inside). As it stands, if there are two connection points on a side, (located 1/3 from the bottom and 2/3 from the bottom), then if I make the block larger to add a 3rd connection point, it doesn't help. The original connections points are still at 1/3 and 2/3. I have to move the connection point to 1/4, 2/4, and add the 3rd point at 3/4th.
