I know this video is old, but I’m just now watching it and I love it. Great find

It's pretty cool that it is still helpful! I actually haven't used Visio in a while I probably don't even remember how to do this without re-watching my own video! -Dustin

I was missing being able to do this in other apps. Thanks for saving me with this video!

@@ProAVSchool I just built a bunch of blocks because of this video. Thanks. Wish I had AutoCad but I don't. Thanks!

Thanks for your reply. I figured it out. If you right click on the connection point you can change its direction to in, out or both. I think I changed it to both and it worked.

Hi, Im trying to do what you have done in your example but am having a problem. I get as far as creating the connection points. When I try to use a connector to join two connection points together i cannot snap/glue to any connection point. The green box does not appear around the connection point, however it does appear around the entire rectangle shape. Any ideas? I have experimented by changing settings in the option menu and also in the 'view' ribbon - visual aids settings with no luck. Thanks

strange... I actually don't have a Visio licence on my current laptop so can't check but I don't recall there being anything special about it. Maybe something to do with layers possibly? Sorry I can't be much more help at this point (and apologies for the late response, didn't see until now)
