I watched and learned very much from your videos, I would like to thank you and show my appreciation. Also, I would like to ask if it would be possible for you to make a "Microsoft Project Tips and Tricks" video. I think it would be good! Best Regards, from Sydney Australia.

Hi sir, for the real cost of each resource, am i the responsible for determining the real cost or the Head manager, HR,...etc?

Thank you for your question. My answer is no, in my experience I have never seen such a detailed costs of resources to go to the salary level. The reason is for simplicity. An other important point is a human resource in a project has the salary and a lot of additional costs like workspace, computing devices, training etc. This is the reason I propose to say for example, coworker = 50; specialist or middle management 100; dept. manager =150. This scale can be adapted to any context and business. What would you propose as a scale?

Hi, Thank you very much for sharing such a clearly explaining tutorial videos on MS Project. I have just started learning the Project and I have a question: In Project 2010 how is it possibe to define Per-use costs for persons. I mean, I would like to set EUR/m2 costs for a manson. So the unit (label) of costs is eur/m2 instead of EUR/hrs. Thank You from Hungary! :-)

Thank you for watching the video and for your question. Basically their are different kinds of costs: work, material, costs. What you want to do is to define a cost per unit. For this you can use material costs to say eur/m2 and then you define the quantity of unit that you plan to use. In the following video you can find some explanations: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a3XZhIKerst_nZI Hope this helps and I wish you a great day.

Thank you for your answer, I got your point. :-) Why I am/was confused is that in my understanding the material costs are only for materias kind of recourses (ie: sand, paintig and so on... all the thing that we can buy in shop for price per unit) and not for people kind resources... But if, this is the way how a cost per unit is assigned to a worker (to achive cost definition based on the workers performance and output) it is all right, i will allpy during setting up costs. :-) Thank you!
