I loved listening to Dusty talk about his parents & the family. I grew up with Roy & Dale. It's so good to hear how much love they had for their family & each other. They were loved by millions & remembered still.

I just had the blessing of coming across this interview. What a great interview! My thanks to both participants. Well done!! Special thanks, to Dusty, for being a real example of a Christian soldier, who keeps ablaze The Torch Of The Gospel. You are a credit to God and your parents and yourself! May God continue to bless you with wisdom and love.

Loved this interview with Dusty. Obviously a nice man, well spoken and kind. I came from an abusive/dysfunctional family. Roy and Dale became my pretend parents. I kept scrapbooks and kept up with the family. Now 81, scrolling through UTube, I'm glad I had the opportunity to revisit these special memories.

Thank you, wonderful interview. I loved getting to meet Dusty and tour the Roy Rogers Museum while it was in Branson. Hearing the Sons of the Pioneers was another big highlight of our stay there. I was introduced to them as a girl through an uncle who had a 45 record of them singing Cool Water, and fell in love with that beautiful sound! My brothers and I watched the TV shows and fell in love with Roy, Dale, Pat Brady and of course, Trigger. Wonderful memories! Later I read some of Dale's books which were very inspiring. And then I was delighted to introduce Roy's movies to my sons when they were 6 & 8 years old. My oldest was not impressed after learning they were in B&W, but by the end of watching the first one, when I asked, "That wasn't so bad was it?" he was shocked to realize he'd not even noticed it wasn't in color. 😊 Good stories can hold their own!

I've looked up to Roy Rogers from the time I first heard his name. I'm older than dirt now and he's still my hero.

Your parents were on stage and had a public performance at The The New York State Fair In August of 1972. My parents let me watch all the episodes on TV that they aired.I was 5 at that time and was quite enamored with how Roy and Dale dealt with morals, values, truth and honesty. After the show, my mother and I stood outside of the artist's enternce to see if we could get autographs. They came out of the green room, and I ducked under the security ropes. My Mom was 8 months pregnant with my brother, so she couldn't catch me. I jumped right into your mother arms. She asked "who are you?" I said "My name is Paul and I love you both." Roy was very kind and said 'It's good to meet you." The first thing I asked him was "Where is trigger?" I didn't know. I was a kid. Roy was great and Said "He's at home." Your Mom gave me a kiss on the cheek and said' You better get back to your mom." And I walked back out. This is something I will never forget and meant so much to me. Maybe I've wrote this to you before. If I have, I'm sorry.Your parents changed the life of so many people.I wish more would with and listen to what the had to say,

I read Angel Unaware when I was about 8. It was such an eye opener! Dusty is saying something I say. There there are miracles everywhere. Most are so small we miss them.
