Mickael Senat and the smartest move you could have made, I have had a E39 for the last 4 years and it is supercharged for 722bhp and 682lbft and with the other tricks like the quaife lsd, gear ratios are like silk with 73 in 2nd, 110 in 3rd and 140 in 4th, tops out at 162mph but it's the Koni coilovers that makes sense, progressive enough to stay comfortable in the daily routine and firm up for when you get a move on. Alcon brakes all round and poly bushes top it off to be a useful cruise car that would get you to Spain with out missing a beat

I think the c4 zr-1 (1990-1995) is the most underrated corvette ever made and will not go any lower in value. It has a legendary story behind it with and is the first corvette to ever step into the "supercar" market to combat European cars of that time. It is also the only corvette ever produced with a DOHC engine, developed alongside Lotus and made by Mercury Marine. With just only 448 produced the last 3 years production, I can see these cars as future classics possibly in the coming years and will find its stride in the market.
@zososldier7 жыл бұрын
But its so gross. You can put lipstick on a pig but its still a pig. They made that body from 83-96 and the price is still falling down a bottomless pit. The gens before and after that thing look 10 fold better. Best thing those are for is robbing the engine and the rear end.

@rodrigarcia76247 жыл бұрын
Bob The Bob in UK there are many for around £7000, with relatively high mileage, but in good condition. In Spain, for example, there are some around 13.000€-15.000€, with more than 160.000 km, and I know some M3 E46 owners, and the cars are not well treated. In Germany probably cheaper, but not that much. It's a great car and will go up in value in the next years

I hope that some Evo 9s will still be around here in Germany in a few years.. It's my dreamcar and there aren't many of them left, but there are quite a few Evo 8s. According to my maths, I will be able to get it in 2024/25.
@VisioRacer7 жыл бұрын
Good luck, because those are now reaching as low as 25,000 EUR for drivable examples, and around 40,000 EUR for very nice cars. Since the EVO is no longer produced, I don't think these prices are going to drop any little.
@evo9boii1997 жыл бұрын

my friends dad had the 1993 miata with the 1.8, 6 speed and lsd. he drove the thing 587000 km, with the engine replaced at 407000. by the end, the p/s latch for the roof wouldn't latch, p/s window was jammed 3mm from the top, the rockers were just huge rusty holes, the drivers door had no outer handle, and it was red, on a navy blue car. no shift knob, just a glove, and the radio falls out of the dash upon accelerating. it sat for many months and it was put up for 750 bucks. within 25 minutes we had emails coming in. we bumped the price up to 2 grand, and the car sold with the stock rims for 2500 dollars. Dubious list: - If the Audi is a sports car that doesn't handle well, why should you expect it to be a future classic. No clamor. - The SVX is awkward, quirky and its performance was not special enough to distinguish from its competition, Nissan, Toyota, Honda, Mazda and even Mitsubishi. Very niche market, little clamor. - MX5, really good car, but far too many to appreciate quickly. Little clamor. - Evo IV, already classic, but good luck finding one, esp. one that hasn't been thrashed to death. Little clamor. - Ford RS, I'm 6' 2", I'll never know. - M5, I'm 6' 2" w/size 13, I love the E39's looks, but was never comfortable inside it. Regardless, definite clamor. I'm more of a 6-series guy (hint, don't sleep) - S15, great looking car. As a prior owner of 2 Zs ('77 and 91) and 2 SXs (90 and 93), I respect select Nissans. If I weren't American, I think I would have liked to own an S15. - MB, already a classic. Can't find them anymore, so I expect that prices are already prohibitive for those that remain.
@MaxGbn227 жыл бұрын
The cheapest MX-5 in Russia costs $10,000. And there are 5-10 of them for sale in whole country. But you could buy Nissan GTR R34 or Silvia S15 for the price of MX-5.

The S15 Silvia Spec-R is speed limited to about 235 KM/H, and gets to 100km/h in about 5.5 seconds. I have one, the speedometer only goes up to 180 KM/H on the JDM version but they easily top it, and before the limiter kicks in it feels like it would just keep climbing in speed. If you ever need another exhaust clip video feel free to use mine, it's on my channel.
@VisioRacer7 жыл бұрын
Cool, thank you for your experience. Can I ask - how great is it?
@michaelkelm35797 жыл бұрын
Well I really do like mine, they feel very planted and have great steering. They're quite practical to own as well, on the highway they use about 8l/100km, plus they're quite reliable and easy to maintain. They only weigh about 1250kg so they're quick for the amount of power they have, and it's so easy to get more, they respond well to a free-flowing exhaust, and with a front mount intercooler you can put a few more PSI through the stock turbo, but I mostly only have suspension mods personally. The biggest weakness I'd say is the Spec-R's 6 speed manual, it's fine for stock power but there comes a point where you need to swap it for something stronger.
@VisioRacer7 жыл бұрын

Hey, guys. I planned on getting an SVX, but the only option slipped out of my hands, so I found a car I always dreamed about - mk3 Supra 7M-GTE. Will that ever be valuable? My opinion is it won't be, because of how great mk4 was, so noone remembers mk3, not even mentioning mk2 and mk1 Celica Supras, which I did consider.
@AJBCooper7 жыл бұрын
No doubt the Mk3s will go up in value one day - especially clean manual turbos. However I think you're right that they will always be overshadowed by the Mk4 and consequently will never get close to that car's value. I've also heard some not so great things about the Mk3 too, some people say it doesn't drive very well. Never driven one myself though so can't really comment. They have quite a following in the UK though and I think they're a good looking car with the right set of wheels.
@TheAnalXylophone7 жыл бұрын
***** Well, it has surprisingly tight handling, and holds the road like nothing else I tried. Also it packs quite a punch for an unmodified low presure turbo.
