I just wanted to thank you very much, for granting me my request, by doing this tribute on one of my all time favorite DJ MAJOR WORRIES. Major was indeed a very special, unique, distinct, and talented reggae artist when he was tragically taken away from his family and fan's back in 1987. Major Worries was one of the many great DJ'S, on the roster of The King Jammy's Super Power sound system back in the late 80s. Along with other great legends like Admiral Bailey, little Twitch, Chaka Demus, John Wayne, Tonto Irie, Tulloch T, and many other's. Major Worries had a very distinctive voice, and he use to sit down pon the riddim like a lizard pon a lim. He use to start off his lyrics by saying, " Ring Ding, Ding, Ding, Diggy, Ding, Ding, Daddy Maja Cum Fih Tell Yuh Sum Ting. Then he would go into some of my favorite songs such as, Short A Breath. Do A Likkle Something For The Youth Them On The Road, and of course my all time favorite Cowboy Emcee. I still have a large volume of music with Major Worries, performing on The King Jammy's Super Power Sound system. I wanted to know exactly what happened to him, on the night that his life was taken. And Also what was the outcome of the case with his murderer, was he given a prison sentence? I would like to reiterate that, Major Worries was a great, great up and coming Super star when his life was tragically taken away from his family and fan's. May his soul rest in peace. Thank you very much once again, for doing this tribute on Major Worries for me. Greatly, greatly appreciated. May God continue to bless your life richly.

One of my favorite tracks from Major Worries was "Twist And Rock". It's so sad that he lost his life in such a tragic way, and at such a young age. I didn't know that he was only 19 when he died. Thanks for the video and the information, Nigel.

I truly hope so. Considering the fact that the officer was already on suspension, under investigation for shooting another person to death, it is apparent that he was way too trigger-happy. This incident with Major Worries was a tragedy waiting to happen.

Sandokhan was not as callous as is written here. He only retaliated because the police kicked up his small-bodied nice and quiet wife. Sandokhan gave the police a warning in a letter he took the time to write and gave the Catholic Priest to hand it to the police before he attacked the station. He was not an evil person the media made it seems. The police were the cause because they didn't act professionally in the beginning. I knew him.
