Hi Brother Robert, you're pronouncing Helle correctly. The 'e' on the end is pronounced "eh". That being said, in Norwegian the word 'hell' translates to 'luck' in English. But Helle is someone's last name and generally will relate to a location in Norway. There seems to be a few areas in Norway called Helle. They do look like very nice knives. I traded a Mauser for a big Case bowie like that, about 10 years ago. A Chilean 1895 if I remember right, and it was oddly enough chambered in 7.62 NATO. I let it go because it was a jam-o-matic without a feed ramp extension for the 7.62 and big bowies never jam 🤠 hey it made sense at the time 🤣
