Visiting Clearwater Beach Florida! This place is AMAZING!

another windy day in the works here. 15 knots from the east allowed me to work just off the beach and intercoastal but further than 3 mi out just becomes too rough. as you can see it was a very over cast day which i believe is excellent for fishing. there was an absolute ton full of bait off the last marker exiting the pass and along the nourishment reefs south of sand key. Birds gave away the bait locations And I managed to land a few nice fish on the DOA via trolling. The tide was rising and as it slowed down I moved to fish behind a spoil island with live bait i caught earlier and used em to catch snook trout and reds.

Great video Orry. The Clearwater area has a lot less pressure and from my from what I’ve seen, less Tarpon than the bridges/passes at Tierra Verde area.

100% agree. The fish behave much more agressive here, i even got some hits on heavier tackle. As for Tarpon, nothing beats the Tampabay area!
