Visiting Golden & Fairplay, Colorado

Abby wanted to drive down to Denver to check out the Brass Armadillo antique mall and since going down that way we wanted to visit Golden for lunch. Afterwards we took the longer scenic route down 285 into Fairplay Colorado. There we found South Park Brewing and decided to stop in for dinner and some sampled of their craft beer selection.

Hey Adam and Abby, i'm really enjoying watching you two vacation in my home state! if your still here and read this comment a really good pizzeria to try since you obviously love pizza is Carls Pizza and Italian restaurant, it's just a half mile off I-70 (five minute drive) 3800 w. 38th ave. Denver. Subbed to your machining channel for about three years now !

Hi Aboms. A friend of mine and I go to Woody's and get the 4 meat pizza now and then. My favorite pizza is sausage and green olive but don't remember if they have green olives or not. It was a surprise to see you go to Woody's. They used to have one at Fort Collins.

When I was a kid (60s, 70s), Fairplay is where the 'hippies' lived. And Morrison, and Evergreen and Manitou Springs and ... We used to go the Dairy Queen in Golden and then go over to a park across the creek from Coors. You saw the fisherman, right?

If you like good pizza check out Woodys on Main Street inGolden Enjoy. Great car cruise on the first weekend of the month but not this season thanks to COVID. Love my Colorado
