Great video. Very well produced and lots of in-depth information. It's a shame you were not able to get into La Valette German underground site by the bathing pools. Probably staff sickness kept it closed, being such a small island staffing levels rely on volunteers and part time workers to kept the smaller tourist attractions open. A case in point is the exterior of the ship wreck museum you filmed, Fort Grey or known to locals as 'the cup and saucer'. You buy entry tickets at the Guernsey Pearl centre across the road and then hand them in to the custodian at the fort itself. In the summer my sister and I visited on a very wet and windy June afternoon. We were the only people to visit that day because the weather was so awful and the chap was about to lock up early when we showed up.

I love your videos. What you've captured is perfect. I'm sorry you didn't get to see the Underground Hospital (or the Occupation Museum) and I hope you visit again, message me if you do - I'll introduce you to our local 1,000 year old language, Guernesiais a dialect of Norman French. I enjoyed watching it and also learned some stuff as a local I didn't know. My personal favourite bit is your video of the 6,000 year old Dehus Dolmen. Your description of Castle Cornet is great, too - I love your style ❣❤💞

Oh my gosh!! We went to Ireland and drove those roundabouts the wrong way. UUGGHH!. How nice that you got to hang out with friends while experiencing this adventure! That chapel was incredible. 😮The canon information was interesting. The castle was amazing! - Jim & Michelle

I live there. I’ve always appreciated its beauty and feel very ‘chuffed’ (English expression!) to hear all your wonderful comments about it! PS: just to say, although as you say there are 19 Channel Islands, only 8 are actually inhabited, the rest are merely islets.
