I just got secret intelligence that the list was made by Ornafish! All credits to them!! it seems to be a outdated list, so anyone that has a new list can anonymously send it to me… 🕵️😜

More videos of some of the smaller breeders Yvo. There are several small breeders near to Takatatsu. Aoki Masai, Marukyu and Yamaju spring to mind…..😊

I met you at the All American koi show. I have some great fish from Nagoshi koi farm. I would love to see a video on his farm. I have never seen his farm on KZbin. Thank you for showing us all these wonderful farms.

Those gin rin chocolate chagoi were stunning fish even at that size. I can only imagine what they will look like in a few years. Question: do you know how many koi farms are in operation in Japan?

Amazing video again Ivo! If it would be possible i would find it interesting to know what bodyweight percentages the sansai and up koi get fed in the mudponds at which temperatures and how many hours are in between feedings.

With exclusive things comes the rarity. Of the breeders you visit this time around, what are the rarest koi they have? Or do they go more and more towards the "generic" (if there is a thing as silly as generic...) koi that are favorites and sells well?
@TheKoiPartnerАй бұрын
That's a great question! Rarity in koi can really depend on the breeder’s focus and trends in the market. Some breeders do lean towards the more popular varieties, but there are still gems to be found!

@TheKoiPartner4 ай бұрын
Thnx! Dat is zo goed als onmogelijk tenzij je vloeiend Japans spreekt. Alleen sommige kinderen van de kwekers spreken Engels, de ouder generatie misschien een paar. Bijna een onmogelijke klus
@rubentrul73684 ай бұрын
"Bijna" zeg je.. Ik hoorde dat aankomende herfst een kweeker rond gaat met Nederlandse hobbyisten ( via arts&ants) Michien een mogelijkheid voor een mini documentaire per bezochte kweeker ?

Most of the breeders know me, beside making videos online I also make videos for the Shinkokai at the Japanese Koi shows like the Nagaoka Koi Show. But I don’t know every single breeder, there are so many. I’m coming in Japan for 10 years so breeders accept me when I come also for promoting the industry. Showing up is possible but breeders are busy and don’t have time or are not inside there koi houses. Best is to go with a dealer in the autumn, winter or spring during buying trips 😃
