I´m confident that you´re right, I guess in Sweden we adapt the names of dishes the way it´s served in the most popular way and in Sweden everywhere you order a goulash (if it´s in a regular restaurant and not a specialized for the particular cousine where the dish originate from) you almost always get a soup (in my experience I should add), so I just didn´t recognized goulash as a casserole, but it was really nice! 😋👍
