Quickie Peach Cobbler Recipe (hope i didnt miss anything!)
1 stick of butter melted
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1.5 teaspoon baking powder
.5 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
peaches cut up (fresh or 1-2 cans)
Preheat oven to 350°. Melt butter in baking dish. Mix dry ingredients. Mix in milk. Pour mixture into dish with butter. Spoon peach slices into dish in one layer. Bake for about 40 min or until golden brown.

My momma has struggled with mental health her whole life. Baking was one of the few things we could bond over. It seemed to level her out for a bit. Watching your momma cook brings back those memories. I wish my momma had been a well person. I wish she could have been a better mom, but I cherish the few good moments we did manage to have. I take care of her now. She's not remotely a functional human anymore. It's heartbreaking. Enjoy every second. Thank you for sharing your family with us. It's healing for me.

I went through a lot of the same with my mom...She had a lot of mental health struggles and it was rough...We did enjoy cooking together once in a while and she made the best homemade Mac n cheese...She got early onset Alzheimer’s and dementia when I was 22, she was 48...I took care of her as long as I could until she needed constant care...It’s hard to take care of someone that didn’t necessarily always take care of you, but I know she tried her best...You are a beautiful human for doing that for your mother...I know how hard that is...Sending you so much love and strength 💞💖🤗

I’m so sorry. My dad was the same way but had different issues. It really is tough and heartbreaking because you see the person that you want them to be peaking out sometimes. He passed in April and i miss him! I’m so sorry about your mama

Taking care of my Mom after she got Alzheimer's was so difficult and sad. And yet, it also allowed me to love her without the walls I had erected to protect myself. In some ways it was healing for me and I was able to let go of so many resentments. Whatever your journey, I hope you also find some peace and healing.

My mum passed away 7 years ago, this month, your mum is amazing and I love how much you love and appreciate spending time with her. I LOVE THE FAMILY WEEKEND VLOGS! I’m super close to my family too so I know how hard it is to live away from them. Super happy for Mary and her husband for their new house, the garden is incredible. And the peach cobbler recipe looks so good! I was honestly really confused in the past about how American recipes used ‘cups’ of ingredients because I thought all cups are different sizes! I didn’t realise for so long that you have specific measuring cups 🤣 I’ll definitely be trying to make a peach cobbler and a blackberry cobbler sounds great too!
