You Mark is my inspiration. Knowing my family traits that my gma came from Thailand and my gpa came from Cambodia. Back then he had to travel to Thailand to meet my grandma. When they met they moved to Cambodia and started a life there and had about 8 kids plus my mom. 1 didn’t make it on the way here due to the Khmer Rouge... My grandparents gotten so lucky and gotten sponsored! And can’t even believe my mom found the news article the day they came to America! So much to even say. You make me want to visit their old farms and family who is stuck in Thailand and in Cambodia.. my grandparents was the best cooks originally cooked from Cambodia and Thailand. But they have since passed.. Now my mom has all the ingredients to even pass down to me. I’m now third generation in my family to pass down the story, language and traits!
