Ya, it's inside, I repaired it for them a few years ago, I told them not to put it back out because the gears are still very brittle and close to breaking some more

I have before, I think it's just the adapter though, it looks like they have it on a 6 volt, when I replaced the motor I had to give it a 7 volt because the 9 volt was to much power for the motor I put in it
