Thank you for your vlog Father. It give me the opportunity to have insight of this year WYD. I really enjoyed the WYD atmosphere, when it was held in Cologne (2005). I am a bit sad, that I can't go to Krakow this year.

02:06 I need to correct - the sanctuary is not dedicated to St. S. Faustyna, it's dedicated to the Devine Mercy. St. S. Faustyna lived in the monastery next to it.

The church with the mosaics was absolutely stunning! The buildings look very modern there. We're most of the buildings built after WWII ? I loved the Srs and Br from Norway singing! Awesome! God bless!

All the sanctuaries in this video was built in XXI century actually. Hopefully Father Roderick will visit some of the historic churches too.

oh! I see:) thanks for the info. It is a beautiful church. What are some of the names of the historic churches. I will look them up online. God Bless! Ciao!

Malani Baker You may look up Wawel Cathedral and Mariacki Church. The most sacred sanctuary in Poland is in my hometown Częstochowa. The name of the sanctuary is Jasna Góra monastery. It's a place where the Black Madonna is kept. There is of course much more but I can't name them all ;). Just in Krakow there is over 130 churches.

The Argentinians are pouring "hot water" to the mate. An Argentinian drink.

+James Darcy Thanks!! I couldn't figure out what they were doing!

Pope Francis still drinks mate. If you can, look for a group of Argentinians and ask for a sip. It's a traditional drink of friendship. Like a sharing tea.

well its spelled mate' there are a few types, but yorba mate' is very common in any old coffiee house in the states or the west, its very bitter though, very good for you with anti oxidents, and 3 times the stimulant of mattinane, as a bean of coffee does of caffine, its in a leaf form much like actual tea, but it is very strong and bitter I think, I like a more subtal tea, even rooibos is better to me, and that is known as african redbush tea, which has no caffine in it at all, and loads of anti oxidents

manga12 "yerba mate". You can drink mate with sugar or honey or milk. There is not limitations. In fact, you can drink it hot or cold. The cold version is "tereré" and is very common in Paraguay. I prefer drinking it like tea, in bags: "matecocido".
@manga128 жыл бұрын
if you say so but I found it horribly bitter.

+Jo So I just felt it was inappropriate to make so much noise while other pilgrims were praying in silence before they arrived. It might be a different sensibility.

Calm down. Father R. just stated an observable fact. It's up to the viewer to make a judgement.

He didn't offend the American group of pilgrims! Father just stated a fact that they were loud. Furthermore, he said that with smile on his face, so... :D

It is a world known fact that americans are loud. and he just observed that fact.
