Such a lovely video. My late husband and I visited Tokyo and Yokohama in earls 1961. He worked for Dept. Of Defense. He was stationed in Yokosuka Naval base. Such a beautiful country. Thank you for your video.

Beautiful video. My wife and I drove from Kyoto to Yufuin last year in September. It took 9 hours but was a beautiful trip. The landscape changes so much in Japan yet always retains the same Nature theme. I love living here :)

I think it was a huge success for the vlog that you chose Oita instead of the Ghibli building in Tokyo or Aichi. Tokyo and Aichi are cities, but Ghibli's world view is closer to the scenery of the Japanese countryside. And many Ghibli-related vlogs filmed in Japan have cloudy skies. I always wonder "why?", but this video is blue sky all the time. Congrats to you for picking the perfect location for the perfect weather!

I've decided to include Oita on my Kyushu trip last month because of your vlog 💕Spent 2 days here, it was so magical! The lake was even more beautiful because of the autumn foliage. Enjoyed my visit even if it was cold (8 degrees) and super crowded (my visit coincided with Labor Thanksgiving day). Love the free hand onsen outside Beppu station and foot bath at Umi Jigoku.
