Visiting The Grand Canyon 2021: Which Rim To Visit & Attractions?

The Grand Canyon is vast, miles wide, and pretty deep. This makes it one of the most iconic places to visit in Arizona. The Grand Canyon is the mother of all natural landmarks that capture tourists, hikers, and people from around the world. Today, we share with you which Grand Canyon Rim is right for you.
The first and more touristy rim is Grand Canyon West Rim which has lots of touristy things such as helicopter tours, zip-lining over the Grand Canyon, and scenic look out points. Of course the most popular thing to do Grand Canyon West is the Grand Canyon Skywalk West Rim. The Grand Canyon West is owned by the Native American tribes and makes for a great tour back in time.
The South Rim of the Grand Canyon is the most popular and most diverse as it offers a mix of tourist things like mentioned before along with plenty of hikes and trails. Stay at the Yavapai Lodge or the Bright Angel Lodge in the Grand Canyon South which is owned by the National Park Service. This is in The Grand Canyon National Park itself and makes for a convenient stay. The most popular trails there are the Bright Angel Trail hike, South Kaibab Trail hike, and the Rim to Rim trail. These can make for easy to long day hikes.
The Grand Canyon North Rim is the less crowded scenic rim made just for avid hikers. Point Imperial Point trail along with Cape Royal trails are some of the hikes along with the North Kaibab trail to Bright Angel trail hike that can take you from the North Rim to the South Rim and this is made more for the more experienced hikers who aren't afraid to take on a challenge.
The Grand Canyon "East Rim" is located in the town of Page, Arizona where there are so many photogenic spots to check out such as Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon. These are two of the famous landmarks of the Easter portion of the Colorado River which leads to these beautiful formations. We were lucky enough to experience Lower Antelope Canyon through Ken's Tours which is a great tour that walks you through the Lower Antelope Canyon for you and shows you the ins and outs of the scenic slot canyon.

I traveled to Las Vegas before the pandemic. Unfortunately, I was not able to visit Grand Canyon but I visited Lower Antelope Canyon (unfortunately, we were not allowed to take videos). I hope that I will have the chance to visit the place when things get better. Still on my bucket list ☑️
