Today, I visit the gravesites of actress Suzanne Pleshette and Tom Poston and share what I believe to be Bob Newhart's future final resting place.

Thanks for a nice video. I always liked Bob Newhart. Always enjoyed his shows and other things he was on. I always wonted to think he was like the characters he portrayed, even though he may not have been. Any time his shows come up somewhere I watch them if I can, but haven't seen them for some time. I *think* Mary Frann died at 55 in her sleep....(?)

An all-time favorite of mine. Timing was everything with Bob Newhart. I loved his phone conversations. If you ever saw the 1962 film "Hell Is For Heros" where he plays private Driscoll, you will see what I mean. We have no one to take the place of these great 60's - 70's comedians/actors and I don't think there ever will be.

Tom Poston appeared in five episodes of The Bob Newhart Show. He played Cliff Murdock, Bob's old college buddy. Bob made his movie debut in the World War II drama, Hell is for Heroes. I watched it mainly because Bobby Darin was in it. I am a fan of Bobby.

One of them is Bob Moog, the inventor of the Moog Synthesizer. His sounds have been heard aro9und the world. Keith Emerson made it a household name. His tombstone is a bench.

Tom Poston also appeared in a couple episodes of The Bob Newhart Show as Dr. Hartley's old college roommate. I forget the character's actual name, but Poston's character had the nickname, "The Peeper," while Dr. Hartley's college was "The Mooner." On a different note, Bob Newhart's death leaves Peter Bonerz (who played Jerry, a dentist, whose practice was in the same office suite as Bob's) as the only surviving cast member from The Bob Newhart Show.

An instance on his show as a psychological counselor he was listening to Jerry the dentist who was over the moon upon the news he was the heir of property that included a title. Hi Linda, I definitely hope to in the future. He was very private so it’s very possible that he might be buried in one of the private areas of that cemetery where the public cannot visit. Hopefully, he will be buried in one of the sections that is open to the public. If so, I will definitely visit. 👍

I read on SF Mission's Facebook page that they gave him a wonderful eulogy but didn't say that he was going there. But given that his wife is there and they posted this comment, I'm sure he'll be going there.

Hi Terry, as you know, he never really know for sure unless there’s a headstone. And says she doesn’t have one. It’s very possible that she is not even there. The volunteers who do this for Find a Grave often just take guesses in the beginning and they are not always correct. hopefully in six months to a year we will find out for sure and there will be a headstone there or some other cemetery. 👍
