My wife and I were there for several days in the 90s. Very unique place. The breadth of tge beaches was incredible. The large hares were memorable.

Thank you for the recommendation. We are a family of 1st generation Americans, and yearn to go back to DK. All ideas are golden.

Loved this video on Fanø. I am from Skotland and my partner is a Dane and we are always looking for new inspiring places when we visit. P.S subscribed and loved your positivity in the edinburgh and glasgow videos.

Thank you for your kind words, Thistle (as in Scottish?) Joe ☺️ I can unhesitatingly recommend Fanø. Thanks for stopping by! (Ps. I want to return to Scotland and head to the countryside 🍃💚)

Yes I'm Scottish unfortunately I believe in May we are not going to Fanø maybe in September instead we will be heading around Skive area

@@thistlejoe I meant if the thistle was to signify Scotland (I did read your first comment 😉) How funny you’re going to the Skive area; I was born there (but moved soon after). Might I recommend nearby Viborg then, too? Grew up there, until I moved to the States, then moved back to go high school. (If you’d like a wee taste of it, I have a video about it… Troll forest etc) Fanø in September will have the advantage of fewer tourists …

What a beautiful island and villages. You can definitely see this is closer to The Netherlands and Germany, based on the architecture with the brown brick walls and straw roofs. The Wadden Islands of The Netherlands are just north of where I live, Ameland is closest. The landscape looks almost the same there as on Fanø, which is also part of the Wadden Islands.
