There's probably heaps of places uce. I know spookers is one. Used to be a mental health institution, went there after hours and well it was an experience. I believe there are people living there but haven't been back in years. Have been wanting to see a series of these done in Aotearoa. Might be cool to have a tohunga or medium present so you could get a bit more understanding or activity, if you wana delve a bit more deeper & serious in it 💖

Really enjoy your exploring vids. You should check out the Tangiwai Disaster Memorial at night where 151 people died on Christmas Eve 1953 when the rail bridge collapsed just minutes before a passenger train came along and plunged into the river. Been there several times myself and there is always a sad and eerie feeling about the place.

What’s really awesome to see is how you did both skits in a funny scary video situation and now a more serious POV. Pretty cool.

I went through the prison couple years ago and when I was in one of the areas just past the mongrel mob room, I didn’t realise I was left by myself and I felt something grab me by the top of my arm, I totally freaked out, I’m quite open to spiritual stuff but I’ve never been touched by a spirit before. I heard that people got home and found big scratch marks down their backs. So I checked and thank god there were none. I also had a photo of myself in the padded cell and had 3 spirit orbs above my head, you could actually see faces in them, I don’t think I’ll ever go back cause I attract spirits and don’t want any attachments I have enough in my bedroom as it is, yes definitely do a prayer and wash your hands on leaving the jail

Very interesting listening to the Matua talk about the history of the Prison...The Asian lad hearing the ' whistle ' caught my attention, because even though I couldn't hear it he was pretty adamant he heard a whistle...Must be the sensitive one out of all you young lads...Looking good BTW...Keep up the great work...😂😅😊

I remember going to this prison with my parents, brother, cousin, uncle and aunty when I was like 10 and for some reason I wasn’t even scared to go into to the cells and the walk in the hallway alone. The craziest part is that I accidentally sat on a chair that one of the prisoners would always sit on and surprisingly I turned out fine. I also had touched a book and read it (the book was made for kids I think) Out of nowhere later on I started feeling scared so I ran out cell area, but I’m pretty surprised I wasn’t even scared a single bit at first.

The old original part of Mt Eden prison in Auckland has been empty for years. If they could open it to the public it would be one of the top tourist attractions in Auckland. Retired former corrections officers could be guides. I've visited the Melbourne Goal where Ned Kelly was hung.

Went there end of 2020, that "Wayne in hell, 1993" writing in one of the cells buzzed me out. The tour guide said he wrote that before he hung himself in his cell.

Matua isn’t wrong about younger children hearing and seeing things! I visited when I was a little fella and not only could I feel the weight of the presence of other people, I was hearing all kinds of things and seeing things in the corner of my eye. It always felt like people were watching as a I wondered around the place Even watching this video brings back so many feelings
