Taya!... I see a wide flat landscape and then is a small hill, a mound!... and legends about ''something buried''.... all that and the location tells me that we're looking most likely at an ancient tomb... to make a huge mound over it, means someone important!... a King or a local Tribe Leader!... so there's a base to the myth and the Cross is planted there to cleanse the area, the ''scary'' myth about ''sounds'' was made to keep people from ''searching''.... so what I'm saying is ''get a metal detector with you, next time you visit''... could be gold buried there!...

I laughed when I saw the "Texas Sushi and Pizza" sign. I live in Texas, and I don't think I have ever seen a sushi and pizza restaurant!! We have plenty of pizza shops and plenty of sushi bars but not at the same place. I wish I could come to Ukraine and open a Texas barbeque restaurant. You would like that! Keep up the good work, Taya. I really enjoy hearing what you have to say. You offer a very good picture of life in your country! The countryside is very beautiful, and the land is so fertile.

The village is very beautiful. I love seeing these wild, natural areas. Thanks for bringing us along. It's always interesting to visit old family home places and learn more about your own history. I appreciate you climbing to the top of the hill especially since it wasn't convenient. The view was amazing!

Your extended family and God son look like good people. I really enjoy these videos where you share the life of your family and the typical village life. I got especially excited at 11:26 because I’m from Texas. Texas isn’t known for our sushi or pizza, but it was still awesome to see it. At one point I thought about opening a Texas barbecue place in Ukraine. If Ukrainians like meat, I think they’ll enjoy some Texas barbecue.

That's really cool you found a photo of your great grandfather. Old photos can definitely be restored. I went through old photos of my grandparents, great grandparents and great uncles and great aunts many years ago when working on my family tree and scanned so many photos that my dad helped me to enlarge and fix the scratches on the old photos. Your village looks so beautiful.
