Visiting with Jesus and Our Lady in Akita, Japan!

On my first day in Japan, I had an extraordinary experience. I traveled by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Akita and saw the Our Lady of Akita statue. The experience was unforgettable. I left Akita with a renewed sense of wonder and returned to Tokyo that evening, grateful for the opportunity to witness such beauty.

This is an insightful video. It is clear to the viewer how important your Catholic Faith is to you. Thank you! I greatly appreciate your comment. Yes, I saw she passed on the Solemnity of the Assumption. In case you don't know when St. Francis Xavier first arrived in Japan for his missionary pursuits, he wasn't permitted onshore until August 15, the Assumption, even though they arrived at the bay about a couple weeks earlier. I will pray for St. Agnes, but I hope she's with the saints in heaven!
