I enjoyed your video as a Japanese who grew up in Akita prefecture haha But I assume that you haven't really visited the southern part of Akita! I'm from Yokote and we have a traditional festival in winter called "kamakura matsuri". Due to covid, past 2 years they canceled the festival but you should visit hopefully next year. Please keep it up with your work and share more good stories about Akita to solve increasing population here lol

Dude! Epic video! I just wondering about the weather in Summer > Crazy Hot? Obvs its better than big cities, but is it still quite unbearable and humid?? I was thinking of going to North Japan in August to escape the heat, but it seems, its not much colder!? Cheers man!

It will be a cuple degrees cooler but depending on what you're used to still melting hot haha. Hope you have a chance to visit one day!

My family on my mom's side is from Daisen a town in Akita prefecture.I lived there when I was younger and I miss it so much....I wonder if my grandmother's home is still there....
