Hi Robbie. My gosh, it looked so cold. I was surprised when you said you were in zone 9. I garden in Southeast Florida - 10A. There are so many plants I would love to have but will not survive our heat. Camelias are one and Hydrangeas do not fair well. The container turned out nice. The heuchera was definitely off but it was still a great color.

We got snow the other day! That NEVER happens!! Hydrangeas grow here they just require a lot of time and energy from me 😂

Love the finished product!!! Such a fun container. Why are we still putting sticker price tags on?!?!? Nothing worse than a sticker price tag on a ceramic pot or on a picture frame!

I’m in zone 9b in Texas and cannot get those little lime hydrangeas to grow…very little shade at my house…

Lowe’s always has a nice selection of plants, unlike Home Depot. Usually I buy from a family owned nursery near by. Did you get snow there?

I usually buy locally too. Home Depot is my least favorite for plants. And we got a lite dusting of snow, more than I wanted haha 😂

@@visitourgarden Well, I’m glad you’re getting some precipitation even if it’s snow. I’m genuinely concerned about the water situation in California. Here in Georgia we’ve had our share of rain but that could very well be different in the future with the climate change. Take care, have fun in your beautiful garden.
