@ it did for me, I was skeptical and you have to read more than a couple pages with the game up for the translation to start registering but for the most part it’s translated 2/3 VN I tried pretty well.

if you dont wanna jump through hoops with all the settings and extension and stuff then you can also just get the game then get the textractor then a locale emulator, run the game with local emulator in japanese and the textractor should start printing the translations properly.

First of all double check extensively in the game options that there is no window mode. Most visual novels do not force full screen in my experience. If it truly won't let you do window mode, I recommend using a second computer monitor. You can purchase a new monitor for

Bro mine doesn't even translate the japanese text tried every hook and guide videos you're as well but it just doesn't translate what to do? I have no option but to use google lens from phone to translate the text

@@hinotama4412 yes but it has voice of the characters due to which it shows boxes and japanese characters and repeated letter, by the way the game name is amakano if you know what to do it would be greatly appreciated

@@kovdhsama The first step is attaching to the right process. Probably you have done this since you see some Japanese in Textractor. Then you need to advance the game forward one sentence. At this point, go through all of the channel options in the big dropdown menu at the top until you see the matching sentence.

If you want to purchase a visual novel in Japanese, the following should work: Go to DMM (website is in Japanese, but your browser can probably translate the page if needed) Checkout with the game(s) that you want Buy DMM points via Paypal to cover the game cost

@@megumi7231 First of all you can just use it manually to check a translation if you suspect the DeepL translation is wrong. If you want to go further you could code something that queries the ChatGPT API and asks it to translate what you have extracted from Textractor (in the same conversation window so it maintains context of the line). ChatGPT4 is better than ChatGPT3.5 by a good amount. Also, I believe it would require $$$ to use the API for either. You could also try to extract the game files from the specific VN you are playing and use ChatGPT to translate the script files then put them back together. Hi, thanks for the comment If DeepL is unavailable in your country and if using a VPN can't help - I would consider using the program Sugoi Translator which has an offline translation model.
