I test drove one at Everything Electric London in March and really liked it. Unfortunately the test route was on roads around the dock lands area of London, so not much opportunity to fully explore the available performance, but it rode very well and has impressive acceleration even in Comfort mode.

Yeah it’s a pity that the EQ Fortwo is discontinued. However with a 17.6kwh battery the range as really too small and with that dimension it’s difficult to do better. I saw a lot of them in Rome where dimendion is crucial. However you can really only use it there. The new model is more versatile and will meet a larger audience. Also with the Geely joint venture they limit a lot the costs. But perhaps when batteries will have better energy density, they will come back to smaller carts. Although it must be said that nowadays city cars almost disappeared. The minimum dimension is compact cars. Which is a non sense in the cities
