Beautiful outdoors. Nice photos you took with the spider. An unexpected visitor and portrait photographed. Greetings from Krakow, Nowa Huta

I admire how you see the little things so many of us miss. We can get so caught up trying to photograph those large, vast scenes we forget to just look down around our feet. Cheers.

I love the sound of the wind, Kim, it adds something like a feeling that can't be put into words. When it's that sound across your ear, a rustle of grass, the patter of autumn leaves, or the sound of a Magpie with its eye on your beans and jacket potato, that is the full experience, tangible but implanting something intangible to your memories of that day. I am finding your 'Mindful Mondays' online sessions so lovely. The opportunity to relax and feel your mind drift away for a little to peaceful and enriching thoughts, has been so beneficial to me and I'm learning to find that place in my mind to sit quietly in when I need moments of quiet and reflection. Thank you so much Kim. PS Sometimes the last photograph of the day is the one you wanted.

A wonderful and relaxing video, Kim. So nice to have this journey with you early in the morning, without leaving my warm home, with a cup of coffee for breakfast 😁. It still feels very real and exciting. You have a talent for seeing things from a different perspective and a deeper place within you. Small things catch your attention, and you shower them with so much care and attention! Maybe that's what life is all about - learning to see the whole world in a grain of sand, a tiny spider, a piece of grass? 🙏

Lovely video Kim. Earlier this year I purchased a super telephoto lens (150-600mm) I have found that when I am focussed on a bird it does not matter if I get a shot I just find the process quietens the mind an almost Zen feeling. I think buying the lens has been valuable in more ways than just taking a photograph.

Great surprise at the end! The spider with the roundness and texture of the steering wheel look great. I wonder how sometimes critters make their way inside a locked car. I myself had passed through a spider shooting craze. But since following the channel, I started building a different perspective and trying to create pleasing photographs without necessarily having a very interesting or eye catching subject.

It's interesting to hear how your journey has progressed. It's great that you, too, have enjoyed photographing spiders. They certainly are interesting creatures.
@zahifar39363 күн бұрын
@ thank you! Indeed I would go on a shooting walk expecting to find spiders, but sometimes I wouldn’t find any, even in the right season, and my supposed relaxing trip turns into frustration. But when I started watching your videos, I learned not to expect anything when going out, but use my skills and eye to create something beautiful with my camera. In this way every outing is rewarding. The Greek island of Corfu is a treasure trove for spiders. It’s like they have no predators there. They’re everywhere. Although not much diversity in species.

What a drama, releasing the tiny spider back to the nature... with French horns leading the symphonic accompaniment in the background! Maybe if you stayed at home, you would have come with even better photographs? Please, Kim, you are such a charming, beautiful, authentic lady, friendly person with no pretensions, please take a straight line to the environment and life around you, don't mess everything up with that new age recycled junk. This is my first visit to your channel so please excuse my honest, spontaneous and straightforward comment. Watching this I thought for a while "What a natural, positive, plain, inartificial female vlogger, a real relief! Until you started with the new age stuff. I think you would have more following with a more plain approach. At least, a healthier following (which you deserve!). I especially enjoyed the sound of your English. Such a beautiful articulation, sounds like it's so easy to achieve (for us not native English speakers). Yes, any improvement with the microphone you use would be most welcome for this reason alone!

Watching you over the years I have come to the conclusion that you never seem to know what you want from your photography. You can’t seem to settle. It seems every few months you change to something else.
@kimgrantphotography3 күн бұрын
I used to feel very unsettled by this, but now I accept and love it. It keeps things exciting and opens me up to many opportunities. I love exploring the world and seeing what I can find 😊
@Lorrico143 күн бұрын
I find this approach much more interesting than seeing the same old scenes, photographed from every conceivable angle in every imaginable sort of light. What each of us wants from photography can change regularly and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. To be inspired by the unplanned and unexpected is to approach photography with the eye of an artist, rather than the eye of a technician.

@@kevinsanders4262, Kim herself has said she used to become very unsettled by the fact she was chopping and changing her outlook to her photography. I sincerely believe that Kim is looking for peace in her photography and that is the reason she can’t settle for any length of time. I wish Kim well in her quest to find what she is looking for through her photography.
