I’m going through this right now brain fog, fatigue, anxiety, tinnitus, pins and needles on my head, shortness of breath, palpitations etc. my doctor says my b12 in fine I don’t believe that so I’m having a b12 injection done privately. It takes over your life especially the tiredness and brain fog are the worst. Heart goes out to anyone else going through this 😕💜

@luke5152 Don't trust your B12 blood test results. From the NIH: > Low vitamin B12 levels can be measured as false normal or false high, especially in pernicious anemia, due to excessive amounts of anti-intrinsic factor antibodies present in the serum.

I was diagnosed with B12 deficiency 2 years ago after years of fatigue which was always put down to my mental health! I was on injections every 10 weeks until Covid hit & they then stopped my injections & replaced them with oral supplements. By week 12 I was drained & this went on to develop into regular migraines, limb pain & there was a period where my vision went completely blurred & I was taken to eye casualty who said my eyes were healthy & couldn’t pin down what it was. I also had Tinnitus, a mouth full of ulcers & by the end, I couldn’t walk because I had such bad pins & needles in my hands & feet, it felt like I was walking on glass! GP surgery said none of the above could be down to my B12, they retested & said I was fine & in the thousands. It was only when I got my injections back, I started to feel better & now a year later, I’d say I’ve only just gotten back to my baseline. I recently persuaded them to prescribe them every 8 weeks but still to this day, no one will acknowledge it was B12 related.

It's hard actually to make even the medical practitioners to believe that you were b12 deficient so for me I just took sublingual b12 tablets, along with D3 and folic acid. I've heard that you will suffer from the long term effects of being deficient on b12 however who knows God only knows if you will totally heal one day. Just trust the Lord.

It took me almost 7 years to figure out that I was running low on on B12 and Vitamin D. I have had same symptoms for all those years and was being diagnosed with anxiety and depression. It was only 3 weeks back, I somehow across a video like yours and got myself tested for vitamin b12 and D and they were abnormally low. B12 was 69 and vitamin D was 22.5. and I just wanted to beat shit out of my doctors. Now I am on supplements and feeling a little better than before and hope will feel perfect by 6-8 months.

Thank you for sharing! My symptoms are exactly like yours verbatim! I’ve been experiencing this for six months now my doctor originally wanted to prescribe me migraine and vertigo medication and I really insisted that we find the root of the problem. Finally my blood test came back and show that I am vitamin B12 and D3 deficient not severely, but definitely low. Yesterday was the first day of taking supplements. Fingers crossed this solves my problem! Because who would’ve known a B12 deficiency what affect your life so severely.

Thank you Amy. For me the creeping list of symptoms delayed diagnosis. But when I was overwhelmed with the thought of "what the hell is wrong with me, am I loosing my mind." This led to a discovery of B-12 and iron deficiencies with their lists of seemingly random symptoms which aligned with mine. Thank you so much for talking about time frames for reversal of symptoms. There is very little KZbin conent with people on supplementation that helps set expections and an understanding of which, if any, symptoms can be reversed.

The reason why so many of you can't absorb b12 is because the good bacteria in your gut is very low. This can happen when you're on anti biotics. To reverse this, you need to take a probiotic to absorb b12. Probiotics are important - so much so that it's considered an important organ in your body.

This was a very very very excellent video on B12 deficiency. I have watched many doctors talk about it and it severely pales in comparison To the content in this video So bravo to you I have a B12 deficiency. And when I would like to touch upon since it wasn’t mentioned in the video and of course many people do not know, is that whether people are aware of it or not your electronics and your cell phone devices can actually be a contributing factor to becoming by 12 deficient. I know that sounds like an awful lot to someone who thinks that that’s impossible however, people tend to not want to believe things because it then requires them to make modifications to their lifestyle which most people are not interested in and particularly if they’re relatively content with how things are Humans are creatures of habit we very much do not want to give up our vices and so phones have become quite device for the human populous If you wish to learn more about the reasoning why I might suggest that B 12 can also be brought on by cell phone and electronic devices that admit electromagnetic frequencies, The story of Madame Curie will be quite interesting and eye-opening for the people who actually have eyes to see and ears to hear He played a significant role in the medical community and our ability to have certain technology today that was not available but it did cost her her life Is it something your jocker is going to talk about with you and as a matter of fact even people in circles that I travel in will not even take this into consideration. But I am a medical intuitive and this is my purpose in life The importance of putting your phone on airplane mode while you are resting or while it is on your body and only removing airplane mode when necessary in other words, when you’re planning to use your phone whether it is to text someone possibly to receive a text or to make a phone call is imperative for your health. You should also find out which one of your Allen devices and appliances are also emitting electromagnetic frequencies and do your best to modify your lifestyle in order to mitigate the potential damage it can cost. There are many wonderful products on the market make sure that you are reading the reviews from peoples experiences with these products before you make a purchase and you also want to make sure that those individuals her crate in these products are well-informed and have put together a product which is going to work for you. If you have not heard of grounding or earth thing I recommend that you also practiced this as it will help with many of the issues that not only you have struggled with Which may be contributing and might not be relative to a deficiency in itself The documentary is called grounded and in parentheses it says the documentary Nearest a piece of art of a woman sitting down I believe holding the earth within her arms one arm at the top and one at the bottom of the earth Technically this is it efficiency because the earth herself has healing properties which are in the form of ions that can only enter the soul of the foot and this helps to balance the left and right hemisphere of the brain. The right will always resonate with the earth in the left will always be jacked up meaning overstimulated by all of these frequencies which we are surrounded by. 20 minutes a day should suffice and it’s preferred that you’re on actual dirt as opposed to grass if you find it difficult to stand you can always pull up a lawn chair and make yourself a little patch of dirt by clearing any plant matter and sitting there for a minimum of 20 minutes a day. You’ll start to find that the pain in your body may dissipate you’ll have better sleep more clarity of mind in an overall general sense of well-being 🤍

For several years I've been experiencing low energy, constant muscle twitching all over my body not solved with water/ electrolytes, and occasional pin-prick sensations on face and limbs. I have regular blood tests but I don't even know if they test for low B-12, and I'm hearing that even when they do it is often missed. For months I have been suffering with orthostatic blood pressure. Just lately my hair is falling out. I don't know if low B-12 is the culprit, but it wouldn't surprise me as my diet used to be very poor. Today I had my first B-12 injection at a cosmetic clinic. Fingers crossed it helps me!! Oh I forgot to mention the brain fog!! On the way to my injection today I missed my bus because I sat down at the wrong bus stop. I've lived in this area for 10 years, I should know which bus stop it is by now!!!!

Could you be perimenopausal? B12 and other vitamin deficiencies often present themselves at this time. As does thyroid problems, all of which and the perimenopause itself can cause tinnitus, and other symptoms that are similar. All this can begin in your late 30's but more likely in your 40's. Happened to me and so many other woman I know. Dr Louise Newson, has a great website about this.

I was so tired for so long I thought it was just how I was. That I didn’t have as much energy as other people but in the last month I noticed tingling and numbness on my left side and I couldn’t do yoga anymore without falling over. I’ve also had back issues for over a year and they just gave me painkillers and they said to let them know if I had bladder problems. I was and told them that but nothing happened, and for the last year haven’t been able to fully empty my bladder. I’m always dizzy but when I passed out in February the blood test came back fine. Recently my legs became weak and I was struggling to walk as I had no balance and it got worse so I spoke to a doctor again, told them my symptoms and they ordered a blood test and the results came back that I was severely deficient in b12 and the next day they booked me in to have injections every other day for two weeks following with b12 tablets and injections again in a few months. I looked it up and then realised it explained so many things I’d taken as normal for me, hearing my heartbeat and being breathless, being too tired to get up for a drink and avoiding drinking too much water because I was too tired to get up for the bathroom. So so many issues. Now I’m worried that my legs won’t go back to normal and I’ll walk like a drunk person forever but am looking into physiotherapy and hoping incorporate yoga to help build balance back up. I don’t have vertigo but often feel like the room is going dark, I hear my blood in my head and almost faint almost daily. I can’t think straight at all, I forget what words I want to use, can’t seem to listen to people. It’s awful, and I’ve got adhd so I already have that problem. Right now I feel like an old person as I can’t hold on to any thought. Thanks for this video x

Sorry to hear about your ordeal. You're too sweet and pretty to be going through all that stuff. I'm convinced we have the worst doctors in the world in the US. My brother suffered for years with a misdiagnosis of Schizophrenia and not one doctor ever tested his B12. He eventually collapsed into a coma in a state mental hospital and was sent to a medical hospital where after 2 days of blood tests they determined it was a high ammonia. They gave him a drug to lower ammonia which brought him out of the coma, but couldn't tell me what caused his ammonia to get so high. They never once tested his B12, but when I brought it to their attention they ordered a B12 serum test and when it was on the low side of normal, they ruled out B12 as causing the problem. They didn't even know to test his B12 at the tissue level with a methylmalonic acid test. I finally concluded they were incompetent and started doing my own research and tests through online labs. I had his methylmalonic acid tested and it was sky high. The B12 serum test is no good because it can show normal in the blood while being low at the tissue level for over 5 years. When it gets low at the tissue level, methylmalonic acid gets high and starts dissolving the myelin sheaths from the nerves. When the sheaths are dissolved there is nothing to contain the electrical signals in the nerves and it shocks surrounding tissue causing pain. When the M acid gets high, it also disrupts enzymes in the urea cycle that convert ammonia to urea, and when the ammonia gets high it causes a whole other set of problems. It was causing, hallucinations, depression and other problems in my brother. I also discovered my brother has a MTHFR gene mutation where he can't methylate B12, so he has to have methyl B12. One good thing is, new research is showing the body will heal alot of the nerve damage from a low B12. The myelin sheaths will start reforming once the B12 is restored to normal levels. I also had him tested for free copper and it was elevated 4 times normal. The free copper is caused by an ATP7B copper binding gene defect, which his so called doctor had never heard of. Along with other things, a high free copper can also deplete B12. When the free copper gets high enough it causes balance problems too. The free copper test code at Lab Corp is 279071. 99.9% of doctors have never even heard of free copper since it's a new discovery, so they'll order a normal serum copper test, which is not the same. Have you ever had your free copper tested Leah?

you don't because some people have a problem with absorption of b12 so if that is the case eating meat won't solve the problem. You can try tablets but take the active forms of b12 thats the important thing and take it with folicacid because they go hand in hand. if tablets don't work you may need injections

This condition sucks. I was diagnosed in November '22 after going to the doctors with heart palpitations. It turned out my B12 level was 88ng/l, so just over half the minimum reference range of 160. What is most frightening is that a week before, I thought I felt okay, but in reality I didn't realise how ill I had become. It was only once I'd started treatment that I looked back over the past few years, pieced together a lot of things that had happened and realised. Like you I had the loading doses - 6 injections over 2 weeks, then I was put on to daily 1000mcg tablets. I had my last injection on December 2nd, and I still have enough tablets to take me to mid-March. The main thing I have noticed is my nervous system coming back to life, especially the vagus nerve which runs from your neck, right through the centre of your body down to your pelvis. It fires randomly in my stomach and chest area, like mini electric shocks. My digestive system is far more active because it feels more connected to my emotions and I can feel emotions, especially nervousness and sadness in my stomach a lot more strongly. I have been really emotional! The nervous feeling is the worst one though. It's like having butterflies in your stomach only for no specific reason and it seems to be worse in the mornings and okay in the evenings. It's really affecting me - I have never felt as vulnerable as I do now. At its worst I just curl up in bed and hope it passes soon. I have also had various muscles in my arms and legs twitch on occasion, and I have noticed being able to feel my pulse in various places in my body really strongly. My left arm and hand, particularly, along with my stomach. I am really hoping this is just nerves waking up or reparing in those areas and that in time it settles down. One of the worst things about this condition is that recovery seems to be so up and down. One step forward, two steps back. Sometimes I feel hopeful, other times I feel like my life is ruined. Yesterday, my nervousness was almost zero, and there were even a few times when I literally felt different in my mind, as if someone had turned the brightness up on the world to 11 and eveything felt clearer and sharper - even my vision. I thought it was a breakthrough moment but then it went away. Today, I am nervous as hell and everything seems dark and dismal. I want to feel hope that the way I felt yesterday in those moments is the way I'm going to feel all the time when I recover but I am scared to in case I jinx it or something. I knew already that recovery would be a slow, gradual process and I am only 10 weeks in and technically haven't even finished my treatment yet, but some days it's hard. Hearing stories like yours does give me encouragement to keep moving forward.

Kevin, I’d love to talk to you more about your experience as it is very similar to mine. Especially your mention of the vagus nerve and the associated sensations. I’ve tried to discuss this experience with my PCP and neurologist, but they’re very dismissive. It would just be nice to compare notes with other patients going through this experience because, like you said, the ups and downs are mentally and emotionally draining.

If you find you're on a rollercoaster energy wise over your injection period, you can supplement with methylcobalamin lozenges absorbed sublingually. A lot of people find the standard 3 monthly nice recommended dose insufficient. The recommended blood levels are insufficient for normal function for me personally. Good luck with it.

Who knows, maybe it wasn't that and I was born deficient how would I know... Symptoms I had while I was low B12 was: hair loss from all over but extra at the front like a balding man, trouble sleeping at night even if I went to bed exhausted, depression, brain fog, difficulty making decisions, numbness in my left foot, pale skin but I am Caucasian, mild metallic odd taste in my mouth, low energy, terrible red rash / hives after sun exposure on body parts exposed to sun... incl. my face ffs I don't know if they are all related to Vit b12 deficiency. .

My hair is falling like there's no tomorrow, blurry vision, etc. I had my level tested, it showed 1500. I Google it, I found that some people can't absorb due to various reasons, but if you take supplements and eat beef, etc. The B12 goes into your bloodstream and accumulates there, but is unable to be used by your body. After 15 yeara of struggle i got to know that i am b12 deficient... this one i found by myself in lab test. Even in UK, NHS doctors were saying it is due to anxiety I am getting episodes og vertigo... Tomorrow got an appointment with MD in India to figure out the plan for treatment.. Hope this will help me to get out of horrible vertigo for 15 years... I wish even our enemies should not get vertigo..horrible... Praying God and fingers crossed... My sitting posture - whenever i sit with hunch back , i feel dizzy.. I feel good if I sit properly and if i do regular spine muscle stretch exercise.. 2. Sinus allergy - when i take head shower frequently then i feel dizzy.. I feel good if i do mudra for sinus allergy.. 3. Low Vitamin D - When I expose myself to sun on alternative days for 45 mins each day reduce my symptoms.. I am totally confused but my research is still going on...If u have spinning sensation I would suggest you to do shoonya mudra for 15 mins morning, afternoon and night.. Ok lets do the math. We don't make b12, we can get it from some foods.but our gut bacteria in the lower intestines are the ones that make it. And apparently ww won't absorb it without folate.....eh greens, plants foods. Id like to sew studies with vegans comparing organic to conventionally grown foods with pesticides that kill gut bacteria. Organic just got more desirable. Also which gut bacteria make b12? All or only certain kinds? Apparently that kind eats greens. As our diets change, so does our gut biome. Im not convinced the "story" we're fed about b12 is accurate.

@@gigafia5358Thank you for your reply, I am glad that you are better now! Actually I made a stool test on H. Pylori not long ago, I ordered it online and the same day it came I did it and it was positive. After that my GP was sceptic and ordered and official lab test for it, again stool test which came out to be negative so it left me confused. First time I checked my B12 in November 2021., the results came 315, my doctor said that I was in the middle because in our lab the referental interval is from 133-675 so he didn't look too much interested in giving me injections or do further testing to see if there was any underlying issue going on. My Vitamin D3 was also really, really low, around 8 ng, I am now on 71 ng which is good. I will look more into it but gut health is what my main focus is now, as to see if there is Celiac or something else going on but I am also baffled by our medical system.

Hi, don’t worry. Taking plant based supplements will help with your problem but not causing stomach issues. I have a whole a lot of issues , I consulted with Dr. Ashwani Garg. You can google him up , he will fix all your issues.

Do a stool test, rule out any parasites or h.pylori that may be causing your deficiencies. Low vitamin D gives horrible anxiety. & b12. Mine is clinically low at 21 so I know you’re feeling horrible at a level 10

Unfortunately my body can't absorb B12 from anything it digests, hence why I don't get B12 from my food, so multivitamins don't work for me.

Never heard so. Only Veg source seem to be some particular algae. You're probably confusing with vit D. Some mushrooms IF left exposed to sun can make vit D.

They said I don’t have anemia but I have the symptoms My b12 was only 58 they started me on injections once a week then once a month and I didn’t feel better I fought and fought now I get it once a week (I hope for a while not just a month or 2) I feel lightheaded every day. New symptoms keep coming on so that is scary that means my injections once a month were not enough My vitmain D was 25 I got it in the 60s finally now I’m so pale so weak , I stubbed my toe and it turned blue immediately something is wrong with my body for real . I broke my foot and it didn’t even turn blue this isn’t me I keep getting super foggy feeling My vision is realllly strange but I seen a eye doctor it’s not too bad my eyes apparently but it feels like it is I lost weight im only 108 pounds at age 24 now Numb feet at times , tingly Back spasms I never had before ever . Acne , pale pale face and looking yucky Also I take folic acid 1mg with it Not sure if too much folic acid dose can make your symptoms worse o have no clue

You have all the classic symptoms, you can have iron deficiency withouth Anemia. You need to figure out why you are low. My case i have h pylori gut infection that lowers my stomach acid so i dont take up b12 and iron feels like dying. Dont give up
