The adrenal cortex contain cortisone. The adrenal center contains adrenaline. You know what these chemicals do. For 50 years now, I take 2,000 mg of Vit C everyday. It is extremely rare that I get a cold. If I do get a cold, I take 2,000 mg 3 x a day. My cold goes away in 2 days. Experiments in stress cause a great reduction in the Vit C blood level after a stressful s stimulus is given. It takes several delays before the Vit C level goes back to normal. A curious observation is that my fingers have remained normal looking (straight) while my wife’s fingers are crooked from washing dishes!

synthetic vitamin C works in the short term minor. Yet long term led all three of the first proponents of mega dosing such on the daily to die from cancer...oxidation reactions that release free radicals are pretty easy to understand why this happens...if you put those out of balance they WILL snowball to massive cancer, which is how all three of them died, LOOKING AND FEELING extremely ill on their way there I will remind you...taking an artificial reagent and doing that in UNHEARD OF QUANTITIES and crossing your fingers (as zero case studies had been done even though if they had of understood body chemistry they should of realized what was coming down the pipes) and hoping for miracle like health to ensue is just a completely bonkers way to go about basics in medicine...plus we know what killed him his wife and their doctor, and why...yet all I get is people wanting to argue completely made up crap here for they are pretty much just like linus himself when it comes to truth, they would rather have money. Well look how far that got linus, sick and dying and taking bucketfuls of similar people who are into that sort of deception with him. Trust FOOD MATRIX VITAMINS in normal/natural quantities, has a proven history of AGES and billions of people.

Everything you said about vitamin C and meat is incorrect. You say it could feasibly cause vitamin C deficiencies to be on a meat only diet, yet I'm almost 4 years of carnivore, and there are many many people who are on it decades, and none of us have any symptoms vitamin C deficiency at all. I'll take data over theory any day. The data is in: carnivores do not get vitamin C deficiencies. Also, you should know that the more glucose you eat, the more vitamin C you need. In addition, muscle meat turns out to actually contain some vitamin C, just not very much, but as I already stated, we don't need as much as you carbivores.

also linus pauling, wife, and their GP doctor all died from megadosing synthetic big pharma (so called) vitamin C...all from cancer within a few years of each other. These of coarse were the first proponents of this concept...and became the first three case histories of what taking such a product in such enormous amounts WILL do to the body. In the short term it kills a few virals due to the oxidation reaction with iron that releases free radicals, yet of coarse this will lead to massive cancer formations down the road...very poor way to do medicine OR science, yet we all know how many fans of such a dastardly big business big pharma idea such has today! YES the clinical guide to the use of vitamin C is MOST LIKELY TRUE, yet what kind of person uses it to save lives IF THERE ARE OTHER CHOICES available when such a program WILL lead to massive cancer formations afterwards? Only the ignorant or utterly stupid...that is who...Dr Klenner was in the former category as he had zero knowledge about the long term effects...and he died before he could get any of those case histories, yet all he has to do was look at Linus pauling, his wife, and their GP doctor to figure it out with massive speed...they all died from cancer, and took 10+ grams of synthetic C every day pretty much until it took their lives. They also looked extremely sick while they were passing, little surprise there..lee the person that shills for big pharma like linus himself did has been trolling these comments with his nonsense for years now, and he was put on block/mute by me for it...so I ignore all his bs except where I seek to protect the innocent/naive from his one sided nonsense!

I’m surprised you never mentioned the number one factor when it comes to vitamin C, so I’ll mention it. - You cannot patent nature therefore most vitamins are synthetic. Vitamin C is usually available is ascorbic acid. - What people need is vitamin C complex. This is four parts- Ascorbic acid, Vitamin J and K as well copper. - Too much Ascorbic Acid leads to a vitamin C deficiency which is why I am surprised this wasn’t mentioned. Hmnn. Anyways, If you need vitamin C, like yesterday, you should watch a video on KZbin about Stinging Nettle and if you want to know where I learnt this information to fact check me, I learnt it from a KZbin channel called Eric Berg, just type his name and Vitamin C in the search and you can find out even more information and better explained.

If: you're deficient, have a need for more of a nutrient (potassium for me),and use them properly. That means taking most supps in divided doses, not taking nutrients that interfere with another's absorption simultaneously, taking fat soluble vitamins with a fat containing meal or an emulsifier like lecithin, and not exceeding levels that can be absorbed. Many people do this with calcium! More than a gram at a time is a waste. And taking supplements with at least 8 ounces of water. Thanks, Rhonda. You rock! I share your passion (but not resources) in self experimentation, supplements, nutrition, exercise (very intense weight lifting for me- especially due to a TBI), and gut health. I share your work with all of my friends that share these interests. If you ever need "Guinea pigs", I'd be happy to participate in research. I would share my contact information privately.

it's amazing how many times i have to address this. Linus killed himself and both his doctor and wife with his advice. THEY all three died of cancer from cramming as much artificial/synthetic vitamin C into their mouths as they could until it started coming out there feces. They expected this strange idea would bring them natural miracle like health...each of them looked very ill while they were passing using this concept...now thousands, maybe even millions follow their concepts....Linus even sped his damage up with urine therapy. Take natural vitamins (food matrix etc) in NATURAL amounts, has worked for many thousands of years, and is the number one recommended way...REMEMBER BASICS, and connect the dots, case histories of all those 3 I just mentioned PROVE what caused their demise...now how come big pharma didn't tell you about this? Oh they sell MOST of the artificial vitamin C...well of coarse.

Her site has lots of information but, if you join @ $15 per month and through the Covid crises can afford it no longer and unsubscribe they keep charging your account anyway and send emails thanking you for being a member if there is any money in that account. So in my case I unsubscribed again and wrote an email again stating my problem and asking for my money back. Again no reply.

linus pauling was an industrialist into greed...it cost him his life FROM CANCER with what he was doing, this woman is shillin for exactly 100% the same thing...little surprise she would scam you out of cash. Linus promised his wife & doctor miracle like health and that he was right, all they had to do was LOOK AT HIM in how sick/feeble he was and they would know that HE WAS LYING through his teeth...instead they decided to be the same kind of people he himself was and follow him, they died from cancer a few years after...glad I have the chance to tip you off before you join them over the precipice. Most in these comments section are completely ignorant about the science involved, and yet bray garbage from big pharma to anyone who will listen, it's disastrous what they are doing to themselves AND others.

I understand that in the 1930s their was a Dr who treated about 60 polio patients with 50 grams of vitamin C intravenously some were ok after 3 days others were ok after 5 days, the last one took 2 weeks.

Isn't that something! The power of Vitamin C. I read about it also, in Dr Thomas Levy's book "Curing the Incurable " I'm also enjoying the reversal of my heart disease.

Reduction of oxilates in diet also easy. This business of over presenting pure theory as if fact is a problem across science. Black holes, worm holes, Dark mater, Dark energy and more are but theoretical until proven. Meanwhile alternative possible explanations are starved of funding. End of rant.

Plants are generally toxic but in proper doses, medicinal. I’ve learned to not use them much without a “purpose”.

I'm trying to work out if it's worth taking a pill daily. I still have no idea! It's complex. May as well take it.
